"Wow. Honestly I never thought I would make it here," Calum said as he and Jade walked through the Olympic village.
"I never thought I would either," Jade replied.
"Eh, I always knew you would."
Jade laughed. "You would've made it long before I would."
"Well now we've both made it so let's stop," Calum chuckled. Jade giggled.
"It's so unbelievable."
"Work hard, play hard."
Jade smiled at Calum. "I guess I better go get some rest. I've got a big game tomorrow," Jade said.
"Good luck and goodnight! I know you'll do great!"
Calum hugged Jade before both of them walked towards where they are spending the nights.
"Jade come on! We're having a team pep talk," Rachel said as Jade walked through the door. Together they walked into the common area where the rest of the team was waiting.
"You all know what tomorrow is. The first game in the tournament for woman's soccer. And you all have to be on top of your game if you want to be standing on that podium in the finals," coach was saying. "So get your rest, eat a good breakfast and come to play. Now some words of wisdom from your team captain."
Jessica stood up and walked to the front of the room. "Tomorrow is going to be big. We all have to bring our A game. We've trained for this for a long time. Don't let the team down tomorrow. You need to give 110%. Who's ready?" Jess put her hand out. Everyone else put their hands on top of hers.
"Team Australia!" We all chanted. Then we all retreated to our rooms and got the rest we would need for tomorrow.
