so , today was pretty cool. I met Joey & we had homeroom lunch & the last 4 periods together! we both actually walked home instead of taking the bus. so here's what happened....
I go to my locker & made sure to take everything so I wouldn't get in trouble with my mom like last year. last year i always forget something. as I was making my way towards the bus Joey pats my shoulder & whispers to me " hey lets just ditch the bus & go walking it'll be fun." so I smile & respond with a " yes that does sound fun." so as we walk home me & Joey are just silent so I try to start conversation, " so Joey seen any people that you like any....girls?" Ughh I sound so stupid for saying such a thing he's obviously going to tell that I like him. " actually I kinda like this one girl her & I have hung out a lot throughout the school day & she's really cool & funny " oooh who could it be ? " oh what's her name ?" please be me PLEASEEE " oh her name is Skye :) " OH MY LORDY MY HEART JUST DROPPED TO THE FLOOR. " Ughh-whaa-a-at ? me no !" " yeah you're pretty cool & I think we've become really good friends maybe like bestfriends." what WHAT I know I just met the guy but WHAT! " oh okay..." " what's wrong Skye ?" " you know what's wrong even though I've just met you I kinda like you & what you were telling me I thought you'd like me too but no you wanna be bestfriends then we'll be " BEST FRIENDS ". "Skye you like me but you just met me that makes no sense , are you just one of those girls who likes a guy for his looks ? is that it ? cause I notice you staring at me a lot! & if that's the case then don't talk to me!" " fine then I won't ! I didn't even know you were like that but bye ! I don't need you!"
JOEYS POV
I can't believe that she only likes me for my looks?!?! I mean she was so sweet & I never would've expected her to be that type of girl. well she barged off & went a different path to go home.
(back to Skye's POV)
I barge off & go the longer way to my house. what a jerk right ? I mean yeah I found him attractive but that doesn't mean I didn't just like him because of his personality. he was so funny & such a gentleman & Ughh bad things always happen to me! how am I supposed to act tomorrow at the bus stop ?!? Ughh I'll just have to wait!
I finally got home & did the only homework I had which was label & organize all my supplies. I went to bed early so I could wake up earlier so I could do some braids to my hair. well now I have to face that jerk tomorrow, I'll just act "chill".
