Chapter 11: Can't afford to stay here..

i woke up after sometime and i noticed that i was in some kind of tent.When i walked out i saw everyone there with feira. they all seemed pretty cheerful..

Cad (the leader of group): oh looks who's awake! come over here we've got some breakfast!

Terax: breakfast? how long was i out?

Galen(the kid with the guns): For days. it seemed like you came down with a fever.

Telaris(the female archer): so we took care of you. *smiles*

Keris(the one with the bad temper): *glares*

Cad: so there you have it! now come join us!

*sigh* alright..

As soon as feira and I were done with out breakfast i got up and said "lets go you two". i turned around and saw feira and rover giving me this "puppy dog" look which was annoying as hell. "you kids wont survive on your own out here" said Cad. i looked back at him and said " we've survived this long on our own and we dont need anyone's help". telaris pleaded " cmon dont be like that!"... i told her we're being followed by someone and we cant afford to stay in one play so let us pass.... "let em be " said Cad with a straight look on his face and so we left..

we had been walking for quite some time and until we got hungry again so i decided it was time to hunt. i asked feira to stay behind with rover and went off to look for food. soon enough I came across a small herd of antelopes. I observed them for a few minutes.. they seemed to be heading for a watering hole so i went ahead and set up an ambush there. i waited in the long grass as they came closer. i tightly held onto my blade and waited patiently. From outta nowhere a couple of bandits messed up my plan as they rode raptors straight towards the antelopes to flush em out of the grass and easily managed to catch a few.

*tsk* they ruined my plan. as i began to leave silently those jerks and their raptors caught me... I looked back at the place where feira and rover where hiding.

bandit: oh look what i found boss! a brat and her mutt tryna play hide and seek! heh!

terax: let em go you bastards!

bandit boss: oh so you do talk eh?

i ran straight at him with my blade.. two of his men came at me and i struck em down but as i moved in to strike the boss one of the raptors jumped on me. it was staring right down at me..

bandit boss: you see boy that reptile will tear you apart in a second if i gave it the signal and stay still if you dont want the girl to get hurt and feed the mutt to one of the raptors"

another bandit: boss can i rape this lil sweetheart ? *licks feira's face*

i was so infuriated that i tried to get up but the raptor wouldnt budge . i thought to myself is this it ? is this how our lives will end? i felt so weak and pathetic at that moment... i was about to give up and thats when i heard his voice
