We would go from village to village helping people out and what not. We would get paid for it too. After some time people would actually reach out to us with jobs only we could do. Soon our name was famous in the east part of the abandoned city of Ruinosus. the thugs and bandits in the area had started to fear us cause we had beaten them and freed the villagers.
.............A month had passed...
One night we were sitting around the campfire and Cad noticed something in the bushes and went out to inspect. As soon as he left we were attacked by a group of strange looking beings. They were not human as far as I could tell. "we are here to finish you off. You have been a nuiscance. Every one is out to get you"
There were 2 of them and seemed pretty strong. We engaged in battle but after a while we managed to defeat them and they ran off. As they left.. one of them said"it doesnt matter even if you beat us cause the one we're after is your punk ass leader". We ran off into the bushes as soon as we heard him say that. Somewhere else cad was fighting an even worse foe. He took on a whole gang of those ugly looking beings. I knew he could not be harmed by the likes of them but deep down I was really worried.
By the time we arrived at the scene there was just one of them standing. As the clouds cleared up.. under the moon light was cad. He was as calm and composed as ever..
