Chapter 4

~~~Liam's Pov~~~

"Okay, back to business your office would be here inside my office, you'll have a desk inside my office so when I need something I can call you easily" I said pointing to the desk that was by the door.

"Yes, sir" Lacy said standing up and going to the desk.

"Your first job is something easy to bring me a coffee, and I need you to do ten copies for each of this papers I need them before the meeting that'll start in like an hour, please" I commanded her giving her the papers.

"Yes, sir" she said getting the papers.

"Lacy don't call me sir it makes me feel old" I told her.

"Yeah, yeah and your so young you know" she said sarcasm clear on her voice.

"Well how much is 21 years?, and go do your job I want it punctual like 10 minutes before the meeting" I replied

"Yes, grandpa" Lacy said exiting the room.

As soon as she left I called my secretary to my office, 5 minutes later I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in" I said.

"Mr.Knight what can I help you with?" she asked.

"Take a seat Miss.Keller, I want you to tell me what happened with Miss.Lockhart" I told her.

"Well she came in and told me that she wanted to see you, but she didn't have an appointment so I couldn't let her in even though she told me you offered her a job. You see I didn't want a repetition of what happened last time, sir" she explained.

"Ok I don't want this to happen again next time someone says I offer them a job, or wants to speak to me and doesn't have an appointment just tell me please, I don't want to fire you Miss.Keller" I said firmly.

"It won't happen again, I promise Mr. Knight" she said.

"You may leave, Miss. Keller" I said and as she was leaving I noticed that she had tears in her eyes.

                                                                    As I walked out of Liam's office I noticed that his secretary was making her way to his office and it kinda looked to me that she had a smile in her face. Omg I finally realized why she was so irritated with me it's because she's in love with Liam, and I'm going to make sure she never has a chance with him, besides when I start dating him I'm going to make him fire her, that will show her not to mess with me I thought as I went to the copy room.

Anyways as I got there I saw a nerdy guy and seductively walked over to him and asked "Hey do you think you can help me do ten copies for each of these papers?", he honestly looked pathetic standing there and trying to say something out of his mouth.

He looked like a fish opening and closing his mouth every single time he was going to say something and to top it of his breath reeked.

"Y.. yee..yes I can help you just hand me o..ove...over the papers" he said. As I handed over the papers I could literally feel sweat on his hands, and I had to turn my face to the side to not show how really disgusted I was feeling.

While I waited for the papers I could sense that he was seeing my every move so I decided to at least make small talk and asked "So what's your name?, mine's Lacy by the way".

He responded by only saying "Nick", I thought about his name and it was actually decent.

"Well Nick thanks for doing the copies, see you later!", I said as I grabbed the copies and bolted out of the copy room.

On my way to Liam's office I saw that secretary of his coming out with tears and couldn't contain myself and started laughing.

When she noticed I was laughing she asked "What are you laughing about?, you bitch!!", "Isn't it obvious I'm laughing at you, you look so pathetic crying over a guy who will never notice you, and don't think that I don't know that you love Liam, but I'll tell you what, don't cry now, cry when you know that Liam is mine!!" I said with a knowing smirk in my face.

As I said that I didn't even wait for her response, instead I just walked straight to Liam's office and said "Mr.Knight, I finished your copies that you needed for your meeting". "Miss. Lockhart what did I say about calling me that, it makes me feel old!!" he responded with a little cockiness in his voice.

"Well what do you want me to call you then?" I asked. "I would prefer if you just called me Liam!!" he said.

"Well if I'm going to be calling you Liam, I guess I want you to be calling me Lacy instead of Miss.Lockhart, deal" I said as I took out my right hand and extended it to shake his hand. "Okay I'll be going to the meeting now, and I want you to sort all my paper works and when I come back I want you to be finished with that" said Liam as he was getting some files and copies for his meeting.

"Yes Liam, now go on to your meeting, I promise you that when you come back, I will have all your paper works sorted out in your desk" I replied.

As I sorted out he's papers I decided to inspect he's desk also, but he didn't have anything to personal, just business stuff. When I was done I decided to go and explore the building, and be back by one o'clock meaning I only had about 35 minutes to explore.
