Chapter 7

Liam's Pov

We were just finishing signing another deal for one of my other hotels. Throughout the whole meeting I couldn't stop thinking about Lacy, I was going to ask her if she wanted to be my date for the celebration.                                               

Any ways as soon as we were done I bolted out of there and went to my office to go look for Lacy. Immediately when the elevator doors opened up I looked up and it looked like Krystal and Lacy were in a heated conversation.                                                                                            
Though as soon as Krystal saw me she jumped into my arms and Lacy raised her eyebrows and put her hands into her hips while Krystal had her head turned back. I couldn't help but see how cute Lacy looked like that, trying to look sassy.                                                                                 

"Hey Krystal I thought you were supposed to be here at 5 you still had a half hour to arrive" I said. 

                                                                 
"Yea well I decided to surprise you, but it looks like I was the one surprised" she said annoyed.                                                                                                                                                       
"What do you mean?" I asked, "Well for starters you finally got rid of that secretary of yours Miss.Keller, and then this secretary of yours dares to insult me and not tell me where you were!" she said.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           
"Okay first of all I didn't fire Miss. Keller and second of all she's not my secretary she's my Personal Executive Secretary" I said with authority.

"Oh, well she wasn't here to attend me, so she did and she called me a bitch and was so rude to me" Krystal said pointing at Lacy.

"Okay first of all I was going to tell to you, but you said you would never need help from me and threatened to fire me and then you started calling me a bitch, so technically I was just defending myself" Lacy said looking really pissed off.

"Whatever, you know Liam you should really fire her imagine if it wasn't me and it would of been one of those persons who you would be signing a contract soon, and then they come here to your office and then this disrespectful secretary does the same he won't want to be signing anything to soon" Krystal said.

"Well I'm not firing anyone today so if you ladies would care to enter my office so we can start discussing what I was going to talk to you about  Krystal" I said.

When we enter our office Lacy went to her desk while Krystal and I sat at my desk, Krystal sitting opposite from me. I then proceeded to tell her about the celebration we where having at one of my hotels here in the city.

"Yes, and you will work with Lacy if you need anything then ask her" I told Krystal

"What, no I can't work with her besides what if I need more money I doubt she'll give me the money" Krystal said with anger.

"If you need more money than Lacy would tell me and I'll give it to her" I explained.

"Then why can't I just ask you if she's asking you" Krystal said.

"You're working with her and that's final" I said with authority.

It was 7 in the aftenoon and decided to go to La MonRe which was where we were hosting the celebration.

I made my way to the banquet hall and as soon as I opened the door I saw Krystal slapping Lacy.

"What's going on here" I demanded as I walked towards Krystal.

"Nothing we were just planning" Krystal answered with a smile on her face.

"Nothing, you just slapped me for no reason" Lacy said.

"I did slapped her for a reason she was saying lies about you" Krystal said looking hurt.

"When was I saying lies, I was just talking on the phone with my friend can't I do that" Lacy said.

"Wait what did Lacy say?" I questioned.

"She said she was your date for the celebration" Krystal said crossing her arms.

"I don't see where she's lying" I said walking towards Lacy.

"Wait, so it's true, ugh then I should just totally quit my job and be your secretary since all your secretaries seem to like you and it looks like you like them to" She said as she stormed out.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know she liked you. I shouldn't have said that in front of her" Lacy apologize as she had tears in her eyes.

"Hey, hey don't cry it's not you who slapped her. If it makes you feel better I didn't know she liked me" I exclaimed as I embraced Lacy.

"Yeah but may...maybe that's why she do...doesn't like me. She pro...probably thinks th...that you li...like me" exclaimed Lacy as she was sobbing into my shoulder.

"Well what if I told you that I do like you?" I questioned as swiped the remaining tears with my thumb.
