Chapter 7: Let's Hang!

School was only a month way. My birthday is in 2 more weeks and I was really looking forward to seeing Leroy today. We were meeting at 3:00 this evening so I got up really early to find something really cute to wear. Before I took my shower I got a video call from Eddy.

"Hello?"

"Hey Eddy."

"Hey Babe!"

"How is it going in Brazil."

"It's all good, you missed the festival."

"Fuck!"

"Its okay I recorded it for you and i posted it on your facebook page."

"Okay I'll check it later."

"Ight. Hows LA?"

"It's pretty good."

"Meet anyone new."

"Nope, nobody but Delly but I knew her since i was 6 so she don't count." I lied.

"Oh cool," There was a awkward moment of silence

"Babe I miss you."

"Aw Payton I miss you too."

"You can come to LA the week of my birthday."

"Most def babe."

"Promise."

"I promise across my heart to the sky of the angels."

"LOL you play to much. love you."

"Love you too sexy mama."

"Ha ha bye eddy.

"Bye Payton." We hang up and I walk into my dad room and I don't see him or her so I walk out. I walk into my baby brother room, I see my step mom in there and I smile.

"Good morning Paula."

"Good morning Payton."

"Do you mind watching him for like 10 minutes?"

"No." She rushes out the room and I grab his tiny body in my arms. His warm body was amazing I rocked him in my arm and kissed his tiny chubby cheek. He smiles. I tickle his little stomach and give him a little kiss on his lips. 10 minutes pass and i sit in the rocking chair with Julian in my arms. My dad wife walks inside Julian room and smiled.

"Well someone is good with babies."

"Ha, well I have some experience," I get up and put Julian in his crib and I give Paula a quick hug and walk out the room. I have to meet Leroy soon so I go find an outfit. I pull out my brown romper and some silver sandals. I flat iron my hair and put on a brown bow. I put my heart earrings on and my glossy ass lip gloss. I grab my iPhone and put on the Minnie mouse case. I text Leroy and tell him I will be there in 30 minutes. He texts back Alright. I call the hot-line again and requests for Jim to take me but i ask for her to take the Buick Enclave instead of the limo. 15 minutes pass and Jim arrives in the red Buick Enclave and i hop in the back seat and tell her where to take me. She says okay and we get going. We finally arrive at Leroy's Apartment complex. I see Leroy come out the door and I bite my bottom lip. Hes wearing a red Nike jacket with khaki shorts a gold chain with a red bulls snap back and black bred 11's. Goddamn that nigga sexy. I open the door to let Leroy inside and i wave to him as he gets inside.

"Hey Leo."

"Hey Payton."

"How are you doing?"

"I am good."

"Fantastic."

"Ready to see that movie."

"Yes I am."
