Chapter 5

I wake up an hour later to see Alex standing there talking to Ethan. "Oh, hey Alex. When did you get here?" I ask. "I just got here actually. I ran into.... um nevermind" he said. I look at him confused then looked at Gray, he was awake looking at me smiling. "Hey baby, I'm sorry for tonight. I promise I'll get back at Steven he will never hurt you. I promise" he kissed me on the head and then laid back down. Ethan, Alex, Cam, gray and I were talking about the twins next YouTube video until the doctor came in... "Hi, Mr.Dolan I'm afraid nothing is looking to good. We will have to keep you in the hospital for about a month. You will need surgery on your stomach and your leg. Nothing to serious just stitches. But we will need your visitors to leave for the night. They can come back tomorrow at around 10 o'clock am." The doctor said as he was handing Cameron the papers. "I love you Grayson. I'll see you tomorrow" I said to him hugging him gently. "I love you too Babygirl bye" everybody else said their goodbyes and we all left.

*In the car*

Alex and I were on our way home when we got a call from cameron. Alex put her on speaker.

Cam: Hey guys, we just got a call from Chloe.
Me: Omfg what does she want?!
Cam: She wanted to apologize about Steven. She wants us to meet her at the café on first avenue. Should we go?
Alex: You know what yeah let's go, if anything happens me and Ethan will protect you and Clare. Okay?
Ethan: Okay. We will see you guys at the Café.

We hang up. Alex looks at me nervous but yet has a smile on his face. It's nice to have him around still. Our parents and him didn't get along very well. They didn't like the way Alex and I were really close to each other.

*At the café*

We all get to the café and go in. Ethan sees Steven and brings Cam closer to him. Alex walks up to Steven. "So whyd you stab Gray? He didn't deserve that you could've just settled everything evenly and talked to him instead of going all psychotic on him." "Look he hurt Chloe! What else was I supposed to do?! Just leave it alone and pretend like it was nothing?!" Steven raised his voice at Alex. Ethan walks up to them and shoves Alex away. "Look Steven! You didn't have to go that far on Grayson okay!! So what are you gonna try and kill every guy that breaks up with Chloe?!!! She's just a girl, she will find the right guy someday! Just take it easy every girl and guy have feelings for different people at times so just stop! You can leave me, my brother, our family, Alex and Clare alone! Nobody cares about your dumb ass!! Or your dumb feelings. Especially Chloe's! She's a player!" Steven starts to walk away then turns around and punches Alex. "WHY THE FUCK DID YOU PUNCH MY BROTHER!!!!??? HE DIDNT DO SHIT TO YOU NOR DID ETHAN THEY WERE SPEAKING THE TRUTH!!! TAKE A GOD DAMN CHILL PILL AND ANGER MANAGEMENT!!!" I screamed at Steven. He glared at me and walked out of the Café. "Haha damn Clare, you scared that pussy right outta here! Yea haha!" Ethan, and alex said.
"Okay guys can we please go home now? It's been a long night and we are getting crabby" Cam said. We all shook our heads and left.

*At home*

"I'm seriously so tired. I can't wait to sleep! Hey Alex can I sleep in your room tonight on the sofa? I'm kinda scared to sleep in my room alone because of tonight." I asked Alex. "Of course you can, we can wake up early in the morning, call cam and Ethan then go out to breakfast before we go see Gray. Okay?" Alex replied. I shook my head yes and smiled. "Night alex." Night. Love ya lil sis." "Love ya too"
