Jordyn fell, her wings struggled to unfold. She screamed, but no one could hear her.
"Help! Please! I don't know what's happening!"
Her legs stuck together, allowing no movement. Below her, she could see the end of the deep passage. Finally, her wings opened, burning from the struggle. She flew up, but all she saw was darkness. Her wings failed her again, and she fell down, down, down... She became unconscious, her body limp and tender.
