Urgent Starter Prompt #1: Silly Games - Riku

You guys can probably expect a lot of drabbles with Riku in them. I've been having pretty strong feels for him ever since I started focusing on This Will Be The Day again. So watch out for that. xD

Also, the prompts I use in these will be in bold... as you can clearly see!

"AHHHHHH!" you screamed as you threw the controller across the room and crossed your arms in a huff. "This game is stupid!" you pouted.

"Watch it!" Riku said jumping after the remote and picking it up in order to make sure you hadn't broken it. "It's just a game." Riku laughed.

"Yeah..." you scoffed. "A stupid game for stupid people who have way too much time on their hands." You sunk into the beanbag you were sitting on, avoiding Riku's gaze as he tried to stop himself from laughing.

Riku had invited you over for an afternoon of relaxing as you had both finished up a busy week of school. However, there was no relaxing as he challenged you to several rounds of Mortal Kombat. Riku had played the game so much that he was basically a pro. He knew the combos for all the characters and was able to beat your button mashing ass within minutes each time.

"You just..." Riku began, sitting beside you again and handing you the controller. "Need to remember to block is all."

You rolled your eyes and kept your arms crossed, leaving the controller in your lap. "I'm done playing."

"Aw come on!" Riku pleaded. "Just one more round! I'll go easy on you!"

Glaring towards Riku, you sighed as you picked up the controller and picked your next character. You decided to go with Kitana as Riku picked Sub Zero and prepared yourself for battle. The round started and after a few moments of blocking, you button mashed so hard you landed several combos on Riku's character and ended up winning the first round.

You couldn't help but let out a delighted squeal and throw your hands into the air, almost managing to knock Riku out with the controller. Quickly calming yourself down as the next round began, you sat there, mouth ajar as Riku finished your character within a matter of seconds.

"You said you'd go easy on me!" you said, smacking Riku on the arm as a smile appeared on his face.

Without even noticing, the last round had started and Riku wasted no time in finishing off your character. The commentators voice calling out to 'FINISH HER' and 'FATALITY' was what caught your attention. Shaking your head in disbelief, you got mad and threw your controller again, except this time you threw it at Riku, launching it at his stomach.

He let out a chuckle at his victory and rubbed his stomach where the controller hit him as you got up and made to leave the room as Riku continued laughing at your loss. When Riku noticed you were leaving he tried to stifle his laughs and got up in order to follow you out of the room and bring you back inside.

"Come on, ~~~~~... it's just a game!" he called after you, still trying to stifle his laughs.

"Fuck you and your stupid game!" you called back before leaving his house and slamming the door behind you.

Riku shook his head and smiled at your antics. He wasn't worried about you being mad at him as he knew you would be over it tomorrow. That's how it always played out.
