I held Olivia's hand in mine. "Diagon alley is everything I expected and more!" I exclaimed.

"I know!" Olivia squeezed my hand.

"I just can't wait!" I couldn't help but let out a squeal of excitement.

"Look, it's Ollivander's!"

My gaze followed Quinn's finger to the bold lettering above the door.

"Let's go!" Lianna led the way through the crowd and the three of us followed. We pushed the door open, and looked around in awe.

There were rows and rows of shelves, all covered with rectangular boxes.

"Oh my goodness!" Olivia ran between the shelves and pulled off a box. She took out a wand.

"Aspen, nine and a half inches, unicorn tail hair core." We all turned, to see a middle aged man. "I am Gerrick Ollivander the second. Go ahead and try the wand."

Olivia shot me an excited smile, and gave the wand a little flick.

A box flew through the air, and I caught it easily.

"Nice catch." Mr. Ollivander nodded at me. "Why don't you give that wand a wave. Cherry, twelve inches, dragon heartstring core."

I waved the wand at the wall, just to make sure no one would get hurt.

The dark green wallpaper partially tore itself from the wall, so it was hanging from the wall awkwardly.

I smiled guiltily at Mr. Ollivander. "Oops..."

"Don't worry, I'll fix it later." Ollivander gave me a friendly smile. "Each of you give your wand to one of the others."

Olivia handed her wand to Quinn, so I handed mine to Lianna.

Quinn waved her wand, and a bolt of light shot out, almost hitting Lianna, but luckily, she dodged it, and it hit the wall behind her, leaving a hole in it. "Oops..."

"Don't worry." Mr. Ollivander turned to Lianna. "Go ahead, give it a wave."

Lianna gave the wand an over exaggerated flick, causing the wand to fly from her hand to Quinn's.

Quinn

When I held the wand in my hand, I felt electricity jolt up my arm, and down my spine.

"I. . .I think this is the one." I stammered. I felt so flustered. "What did you say it was?"

"Cherry, twelve inches, dragon heartstring core." Mr. Ollivander announced.

"Yes, this is the one for me." I smiled.

"Great!" Mr. Ollivander picked up the box, and reached for my wand.

For one reason or another, his smile seemed forced. Almost as if, there was something he wasn't telling me.

"So, anything I should know about the wand?" I tried to sound casual, as if the question didn't really matter, although it itched under my skin.

Mr. Ollivander hesitated, though only for a second, before shaking his head. "It's a wand like every other I've sold. My father made it and left it to me to sell. Really nothing special." He turned to the shelf, and took two wands, handing one to Mayble, and one to Olivia. "Try these." He turned to me. "Give that other wand to her."

I handed the aspen wand to Lianna, and when Mr. Ollivander turned his back, whispered, "Am I going mad, or did Mr. Ollivander just choose those two wands at random?"
