So this has to be one of the most annoying things that show creators do
Take Julie plec for example, she kills off elena which I'm fine with because elena is annoying af, but we aren't going to see any more of the three other doppelgangers, aka Katherine, Amara ect
Even though nina dobrev left the show its still super frustrating
So thanks Julie, you little bitch
Then in the originals she literally kills THE ENTIRE MIKAELSON FAMILY!! But it doesn't really make much difference because season 4 is 5 years later which will have given hayley enough time to bring them back. But it's still annoying af!
To be honest most shows don't do this because they aren't idiots and know that their ratings will go down without the WHOLE BLOODY POINT OF THE SHOW
