Chapter 2

Charlie and Cristal was walking arm in arm " so what do you wanna do for your birthday next month ?" Charlie smile, he loved birthday special other's birthdays  " Charlie you know I don't like my birthday day" Charlie stopped and looked at Cristal, he took away a little bit of hair she had got in her face "why hate a birthday " Cristal looked at him, Charlie just smile " because that reminds me that I will never get older" He began to walk again " don't you understand that's the best part of it, it means you are never to old to party the night away" Cristal just laughed at him "but it's a month away so you can chill, and I already know what I'm going to do on my birthday " now it was she that was smiling " don't say we are..." Charlie didn't even get to end his sentence because Cristal interrupted him " we are going to Scotland " she said with the biggest smile.

The music was loud and it was people everywhere. Cristal was trying to make her way out so she could smoke. The air was warm but not as warm as it was inside the club, she took the cigarette and put it in her mouth, She was looking in her pockets and in her bag but could not find the lighter 'I must have dropped it inside the club' she thinks for herself as she is about to take the cigarette out of her own mouth but before she gets the time someone takes up a lighter right in front of her, at first she is surprised but she takes it and lighters the cigarette, She turns around to see two beautiful green eyes and a smile that could make the sun melt "you know it's bad to smoke right, it will kill you" he smiled "well it's you how carry a lighter with you" she took a sip of her cigarette and smiled "well it's just because i need something to start a conversation with a beautiful girl like you" he looked into Cristal's brown eyes and that made her nervous, as she was about to look away she heard a familiar voice and turn around to see Charlie standing there in the door to the club " are you going, I told you to wait on me" Charlie said and crossed his arms over his chest "I think your boyfriend wants you back" Cristal turned back to guy with green eyes "oh no we are not together, we are just friends" he smiled big " good then can i get your number?" Cristal give him a shy smile and looked in her bag for paper and pen, Cristal gave him the number the same moment Charlie dragged her away "wait I didn't get your name" he screamed after her as Charlie walked faster " It's Cristal Fraser" he vawed "I'm Jace ".

Charlie was looking at Cristal that was humming for herself, she noticing that he was looking and looked back "is something wrong?" Charlie looked down on the street "no I was just wondering who that dude was" Charlie could see how Cristal's eyes sparkled like a sky full of stars when he said that "well we didn't talk much but i think he could be the one" Charlie stopt " wait are you serious?" he looked sad but at the same time surprised "yes, I got that feeling you know, when I looked into his magical green eyes" Cristal fast realise what she had said and put her hand in front of her mouth "Charlie I'm so sorry, i didn't mean..." Charlie just fake smiled "It's okay Cristal, I'm happy that you have found the one and that you can now be happy with him" Charlie didn't wanna talk more about it so he walked faster, in that moment Cristal remember the day Charlie's soul mate dead, It had been a cold winter day 1991, it was the time they lived in Northway, Cristal remember that she was going to meet up Charlie to plan the trip to Africa, but he never showed up, so she went to his house and she find him in tears with the broken necklace in is hands. Cristal remember how much pain she had seen in his eyes that day. Charlie know that he had promised that he wouldn't stand in the way of love if Cristal found it and he had promised himself he wouldn't show her how much it hurted him.
