Chapter 3

The smell of coffee and new baked cookies hit her like a wave when she walked into the coffee shop.  She looked around the shop and in the back she found what she was looking for and smiled, She walked to the end of the shop and sate down at a round table, "Well hello there beautiful" she smiled and looked into his beautiful green eyes "hey" they both smiled at each other, Cristal sat down next to him. They talk for hours about everything,   Cristal was fine until he asked the forbidden question  " so when is your birthday ?". Her heart stopped for a second, She had totally  forgotten about her birthday and that she was supposed to spend it in Scotland. 

Cristal walk in, too se charlie sitting on the couch with his computer , he looked up from screen och smiled at her  "so how did it go with Jace?" Cristal sat down next to him " He wants us to celebrate my birthday together" Charlie looked at her with scared eyes, he wasn't scared because she was, he was scared that this 'Jace' guy could be the one for Cristal, and for him that means that he would have to walk this earth alone because she is going to began to age and that also means that she can finally settle down and stop running, but he couldn't do the same, he could never settle down, at list not in the same way that she could, "so what did you tell him?"  Cristal just looked down at her feets "I told him that I would talk to you first because we always celebrate my birthday" It was true, sense the day Charlie and Cristal meet, they have been celebrating birthdays together, they always celebrated Charlie's birthday at so club, but not Cristal, she was more classy that way, she always wanted to celebrate her birthday in Scotland at her old house, the house she was born in, she loved that place so even if she only could visit is once a year she wanted that day to mean something so she always went on her birthday.

Jace had already called 3 times this morning, Cristal hadn't talked do him for days and she didn't know what to do, she likte him but she didn't know if it was so smart to take him to scotland on her birthday. He called one more time " you need to answer him" Charlie looked at her phone and then at her, she just gave a nodd to answer and took up the phone "Hello" She heard a worried Jace on the other end "Have something happed? I have tried to call you for days!" She took i kvik look at Charlie how nodded back like a answer " I'm so sorry, I haven't called back but I have had my hand full, But there was something I wanna ask you. Do you wanna come with me and Charlie to Scotland for my birthday?".
