The Ending

Vince's POV

6 years had passed since that day. Many things happened, many things have changed. Grumaduate na kami, buti nga at nakasabay pa ako sa kanya! Napagsikapan kong magseryoso at ngayo'y professional na. Couple of anniversaries have passed. Many ups and downs. It's been 6 years din, since nung maging kami. Can you believe it? Tibay namin eh!

I believe it's about time to settle down. Take it to the next level ika nga. Tutal naman minana jo na din ang company ni Dad, I can also say na successful man na ako. Pwedeng pwede na di ba?

"Hi Mom! I'll be proposing to her later," kiniss ko naman sa cheeks si Mommy. I decided to visit my parents and of course to let then know my plan.

"Oh my gosh! You heard that Mafflarery? Our baby boy is finally a grown man now," Mom exclaimed. I'm glad she's happy about this.

"Are you sure son?" Dad gave me that worried look. He knows me. I hurriedly nod to show him I'm really serious. "If that's what you really want. Goodluck to the both of you."

Yeah, this is what I want.

"I'm so proud of you Vince. You deserve to be happy," Mom said. I really love Mom because she's so supportive in everything I do. Basta daw ba I'm happy with my decision, it is the right thing. Kaya nga ayaw ko magpaampon kay Tita Lea eh, pero anytime soon I'll be her son pagkinasal na kami ng kanyang anak.

Today is our 6th anniversary pala. Sinakto ko na para masurprise siya ng todo. This is the right time kung baga. Susunduin ko pala siya sa bahay nila. Doon pa din sila nakatira, it's still beautiful as I've first seen it. And you can feel now the happiness and love. 5 years ago kasi nagdecide ng bumalik and Dad nila sa kanila. Nagising siguro sa katotohanan? Buti nga eh!

It just took them almost 2 years just to go back from being a happy family. Knowing Leyanne, pahard to get yun. Alam niyo naaaa.

"Good evening po Tita, Tito," bati ko sa kanila.

"She's still upstairs. You know girls; matagal magpaganda," biro ni Tita.

"Sanay na ako Tita," I joked tas tawa naman kami.

I waited for a couple of minutes bago siya bumaba. She still loojs stunning as ever. She still looks the same pa rin naman, the one I fell inlove with. Pero ngayon makikita mo na yung confidence and elegance. Ang ganda niya talaga. Swerte ko talaga.

Lumapit ako sa kanya. "You're so beautiful, babe," sabi ko sabay halik sa pisngi niya. Hep hep! Hanggang cheeks lang muna dito, andyan ang parents niya eh. :(

"We'll be going na po," paalam ko.

"Take care of my daughter, Mr. Villacorte," may pagbabanta sa tono ni Tito.

"Daddy!" suway niya. Haha, cute talaga nito mapikon.

"Of course I will, Tito," I assured them.

"Ingat kayo!" Tita said.

Sunakay na kami ng kotse. Kiniss ko agad siya sa lips nung nakalayo na kami sa kanila. Uyy, nakascore din.

"Vince!" namumula niyang sabi.

Tinawanan ko siya. "You're so cute. I just missed you," pacute ko.

"Awww." kurot niya sa pisngi ko. Aray. "By the way, where are we going?"

"Secret ko na yun!"

"Eh, where?" pangungulit niya.

"I won't tell."
