Afraid

This was her 27th day on Star killer and also her 27th day working with her significant other, Hux.
Working with him was hard for her. Although everyone knew about their relationship status, they had to keep it at a professional level.

"Lieutenant Mila," General Hux called.

She turned in a swift motion, her long straight brown hair whipping the air. "Yes, General?"

"The weapon needs to be charged immediately." He commanded. 

"Right away, sir." She nodded. Turning to the table that controlled half of star killer. The sun began to be swallowed by the large hollow center of the base. The shot of red light from the sun reflected on the stormtroopers helmets. 

"Mila, time for you to take off. I have things under control now." Hux gently said to her. "I'll see you in our quarters."

Hux gave his love a soft and warm smile. Which everyone found odd considering he is space hitler. He was always gentle and soft with her.She smiled back at him, leaning in to give him a peck on the lips.

"General Hux."

Interrupted by a deep voice, a modulated voice. That echoed through the both of their ears. It was none other than Kylo Ren. Her heart began to beat fast. If the room was silent enough, you were able to hear how hard her heart was beating. She's petrified of the tall masked figure. Mila swallowed the lump in her throat.

"Ren." Hux greeted his co-superior.

"Excuse me, Commander." She ducked and quickly walked past him. Behind the mask, Kylo's eyes following her as she exited the room in a hurry. Hux raised a brow at the commander in curiosity. Wondering why he didn't speak after he had answered him.

By the time she got to her quarters, she exhaled loudly and plopped her self on the bed. The sheets scrunching up around her body. She started to think. It has always been like this. Her being terrified of Commander Ren. He always observed her, ever since shes started working her. But that's not why shes afraid of him. It's because hes known for being ruthless. The sound of air released from the door as it was being opened.

"Is everything alright?" Hux questioned her in a concerned tone.

"Of course." She lied.

He didn't know of her fear of Kylo Ren. She itched her head while she gazed at the ceiling. The spot next her on the bed sank. She turned her to see the beautiful ginger man laying next to her. He caressed her cheek, kissing her in the process. He pulled away from her.

"I have news for you, my love." He informed. She raised both of her brows as if for him to continue.

"Kylo Ren, has requested you work on finalizer. As Lieutenant Mitaka does not have enough help in the command center there." He said while taking his eyes off hers. 

Shit.

Was all she could think. She didn't say anything back to him for five minutes. Until--

"Am I allowed to stay in our quarters?" she asked him. He shook his head in response. She sighed.

"Don't worry you can always come back whenever you have free time, my love." He smiled at her.  She returned the smile, to let him know she was okay. Tomorrow was gonna be the day she has to face her fear.
