"Derek we need to talk and it would be smart to listen" Talia said to her son. "whats up, i have been staying out of trouble like you told me to?" Derek said "There is a new pack coming into town and they have offered their daughter to you as a possible mate if you agree to a marriage with the alpha's only daughter." Talia explained.
"Do i get a choice on this or is it a 'you do this and we don't have a problem' kind of thing" Derek said with a little to much attitude toward his alpha. "One you will not talk to me like that and two yes it is up to you" Talia said almost at a growl with her dark red eyes glowing, "Derek before you make your mind up about this women she is 20 like you and striking so keep an open mind." "when is the pack getting here? in two days so be ready." talia said
All Derek did was look at his mom as she walked back to the house from where they were talking in the woods, and all that derek could think about was what he should do.
