A beggar grumbled about his poverty. He wished he had just a little money more.Fortune heard him...

One day,as he performed his daily routine of pleading money,a man caught his eye.The man ran towards the bus stop, which stood in front of the pavement on which the beggar sat. As the man reached the stop,he patiently waited for the bus to arrive. But coincidentally, he dropped his wallet on the road, within the reach of the beggar.

The beggar picked it up and found only a little amount of money,a photo,a pencil and a few papers in it.

"Well,it's not much, but the money will provide me a hearty dinner TONIGHT." He thought. Out of curiosity,he took out the papers and unfolded them.Normal, useless papers...until the last one. It was a medical report of a young girl named Blessing. Only 7 years old,she has blood cancer and requires a HUGE amount of money for an immediate operation.

The beggar shifted his gaze at the wallet's owner ~ patched clothes, dirty stubble and a very helpless look in his eye.He smiled to himself and shook his head. Then,he picked up his bowl and started counting. Only a few coins,he found. He put the coins into the man's wallet and wrote something behind the medical report using the pencil.

Finally,he took out the photo. A little girl,Blessing,he presumed, smiled brightly at him. Blonde curls, chubby cheeks and little hands cupped around her face, she could brighten up ANY dull day. Only the thought of her present appearance sent a cold chill down his spine.

He ran to the man who was JUST about to board the bus which already arrived.

"You dropped your wallet,my dear sir." He smiled and returned it, not before he rubbed his dirty hands on his rags.

"Oh thank you! Goodness how careless of me! Thank you so very much!" The man seemed guilty to death for dropping that. The beggar smiled and went back to his 'seat'.

The man hurriedly climbed upon the bus and chose a window seat. Out of human behaviour,he decided to check the wallet and its contents, just in case--

Surprisingly, he found a few coins MORE and a dirty scribble behind Blessing's medical report. It said-

"Every penny counts,my dear sir.Glad I could be the first one to make an input in 'THE BLESSING FUND'."

The man smiled. The cold wind rushed past the windows of the bus, he looked up at the sky,his vision blurry.

Somehow, the sky seemed to be a tiny bit more beautiful than usual.
