Liam's Friends

After the romantic date me and Liam didnt meet up for a couple of days, as both of us were quite busy. However we had arranged to meet up on friday at the beach to sunbathe and just chat, also I was going to meet some of his friends. Matt aka the complete dick wouldn't be there but three boys called: Luke, Drew and Austin were, along with two girls Lindsey and Ashley I was nervous about meeting them, Liam said they were all nice and decent - but of course Liam would he likes everyone!

I had been out with my dad and Justin for a couple of days, just round the mall and beach. Me and dad were finally starting to get along, I realised I had been to harsh on him. I was being a happier person because I was starting to feel content with life, probably because Liam had come into my life - even though I had only known him a few days it felt like we had been together for a while.

I woke up at 10am Friday Morning, so that left me 2 hours to get ready before I met up with Liam and his friends. My dad woke me up and he had made me breakfast, "Morning Saph, I made you some pancakes" he said.

"Morning, thanks im starving" I replied.

"Im taking Justin to go sight-seeing round California for the day, sure you dont want to come? It will be a great experience" asked dad.

"I loved to, but I've made plans with Liam" I said, I was disappointed I love exploring and it would've been awesome.

"Well okay, suit yourself" said dad.

I finished off eating my pancakes, then went into the en-suite and had a long shower. I changed into a pink cami and white hotpants, also a strapless white bikini under as it was a blazing hot day. I applied a slick of mascara, bronzer and lipgloss then I was ready to go.

When I arrived at the beach, Liam and his friends were already there. His three friends were sat on towels sunbathing and Liam had got up to greet me. Liam embraced me and I felt the familiar feeling erupt in my body, a mixture of butterflies and tingling. He pecked my cheek then introduced me to his friends. "Guys, this is Sapphire. Sapphire this is Luke, Drew and Austin (pointing individually at each boy)".

Luke had short brown hair, tanned skin and was very tall. Drew had lightbblonde hair, pale skin and quite small. Finally Austin was very muscular and handsome; he looked a little bit like Liam - but not as hot.

Drew spoke first, "Hi Sapphire, Liam has told us loads about you! Nice to meet you" he seemed like a nice lad.

"Pleasure to meet you Sapphire (bowing at me jokingly)" said Luke he must be the joker of the group I thought.

"Hey" said Austin simply, he seemed like he didnt want me there, plus he was leering at my body.

"Hi guys nice to meet you" I said happily, may aswell be nice to them I thought.

"Oh look here come Lindsey and Ash" said Liam. Two stunning girls were walking our way. One of the girls had long bleach blonde hair, tanned skin with the skinniest legs ive ever saw! The other girl had red long, wavy hair, tanned, skinny and very tall. They both look like models, I felt so intimidated and neither of then had spoke.

"Hey baby" said the blonde girl, she was talking to Austin. Austin got up and kissed her passionately on the lips.

When they eventually pulled away from the kiss Liam spoke, "Hi girls this is Sapphire, Sapphire this is Lindsey (pointing at the blonde girl) and this is Ashley (pointing at the red head)".

"Hi Sapphire, nice to meet you" said Ashley whilst she smiled at me - she seemed nice.

Lindsey gave me an obvious look up and down then said, "Hey". This girl seemed like she had a problem with me and I had only just met her! I felt like being rude back, but I thought Im not going to stoop to her immature level.

"Hi ashley, hi Lindsey" I said polietly.

"So who wants to go in the sea?" said Luke

"C'mon Saphhire shall we go in" asked Liam

"Sure" I replied as I quickly got out of my clothes into my bikini, aware of Lindsey staring intently at my body.

Me and Liam made our way down to the tide alone. "So..what do you think of them?" asked Liam

"Yeah, they seem nice. I dont think Lindsey paticularly likes me or Austin" I replied honestly.

"Look, I should tell you know that me and Lindsey dated for about a year, but I finished it as she was too clingy and not my type. This doesn't change anything between us does it?" Liam asked cautiously.

I felt like my happiness had evaporated completely, of course it changed things! "Well, that does make things awkward for me, she probably hates me because she thinks I stole you from her!" I remarked.

"Don't be silly, her and Austin are together now" said Liam. Oh he was so clueless, she was most likely just dating Austin to try and make Liam jealous! I just left it though, he was too nice to believe it anyway.

As we reached the sea the others were walking to meet us. Lindsey and Ashley had both changed into their bikinis, making me as self-conscious as ever; they looked even more like models. I looked like a small, podgy outsider compared to them two.

Luke and Drew ran straight past us into the water, so me and Liam followed them. Ashely joined us whilst Austin and Lindsey seemed to be kissing again. "So how long have you been here for Sapphire?" asked Ashely.

"I came here on Monday to stay with my dad for the summer, I usually live in New York" I replied

"Cool, you enjoying it here" asked Ashley.

"Yup it seems pretty cool, I do miss my friends back home but Liam has made me feel less homesick" I said. Liam kissed my cheek which made my cheeks instantly heat up with that paticular feeling Liam gave me.

"Aw thats so cute, I always wanted Liam to find someone else after Lindsey" said Ashley

"Oh Ash, how are you and Drew going?" asked Liam.

"Really good, im just waiting for him to make it official to be honest - I think he's nervous as im his first proper relationship" replied Ashley. I was quite suprised that her and Drew were dating as she is so pretty and he, well, is nothing special.

"Oo okay, here come Austin and Linds" said Liam.

"Im just going to get some ice cream, who wants one?" asked Austin

"ill have one" said Ashley

"Me too, what about you Sapphire" said Liam

"Er no thanks" I said as I wasnt paticularly hungry. Lindsey gave me a really dirty look when I said that, I so wanted to slap her.

"Why" demanded Lindsey

"Im not hungry if thats ok with you?" I said a little angrily

"Whatever" Lindsey replied

Ashley sensing the awkardness said, "So shall we go for a swim?".....
