Chapter 9

Chloe pov

Mom burst through the door with a look on her face that said look-at-me-wrong-and-I-will-kill-you

“Momma what’s wrong?” I asked

“Stupid wolf” I heard her mutter “Come here Baby” she said holding out her arms to me

I hopped off of dads stomach and skipped over to her

She picked me up and spun me around

“You’re getting too tall for this” she said putting me back down on the ground

“Yep, I’m no baby now” I said sitting back down

“You will always be my baby Chloe” she said sitting next to me

“Hey didn’t you go with Seth” Auntie Alice said sitting next to me and handing me a cup of tea

I swear I’m addicted to it because since I woke up with a crazy ass Bella in my face I have had like nine cups of it

“Erm………… I might of left him at the place” Mom said looking a bit guilty

“You think” someone said from behind us making our heads snap in their direction

“Seth” I breathed out, I had a grin smacked on my face as I ran over to him, hugging him and going on my tip-toes for a quick peck

“You’re okay” he said leaning his head on top of mine, yes I am smaller than him which is sometimes a good thing

“I’m fine, noting more than a weeks’ worth of sleeping can’t fix” I said sarcastically

He chuckled slightly picking me up and sitting on the sofa with me on his lap

“Have you told them?” he asked looking at mom

“No I haven’t, I thought the whole family might have wanted to be here” she said shaking her head

And on cue they started piling into the room some standing because dad was still lounged across the two seated sofa with his legs dangling over the edge

“So, what was it?” Grandma asked

“A wolf, Maybe you know her Chloe…………..Leah Clearwater” she said looking at me

My mind went blank for the moment until the name registered to the face

Seth's sister

the one who couldn't handle a little joke after threatening me

“From the beach. I know her” I said knowing I had a blank look on my face

“And a wolf called Larry” Seth added

“Yeah him to” mom added leaning back on the sofa not really caring for this Larry person

“And I bet you got all up and in their face” I said being the comedian I am

“She actually did though and someone knew you would say something like that if you were there” Seth said his chest vibrating from his laughs

Mom let out a chuckle and so did the rest of the family

I could see Bella out the corner of my eye and she looked a mess, totally frustrated and looked like she was going to murder someone

or should I say me? yeah, she was ready to murder me

And then she blew up “Just die you attention seeking whore” and she stormed out the room

“Can someone please lock her in a coffin and leave her in a lake” Seth said behind me
