Uruha's POV

I had already forgotten the feeling of the onshore breeze and the smell of sea. The two of us used to walk on the beach together but only one pair of footprints remained now.

"It's so nice here, isn't it?" I heard a voice near me and turned around to see a warm smile of the voice's owner looking at me.

"Yes, Yuu. I love it," I answered him, also smiling. It was so great here and, most importantly, we were together.

"Me too," he agreed.

"Why don't we go wade into the water for a little?" The raven asked, smiling cheerfully, and after a moment we were shoeless, walking across the seaboard, the cold waves breaking on our feet.

"It's cold," I complained and heard the other man laughing in response.

"Of course it is. What did you expect in autumn?" Aoi said, smiling happily.

"I know..." I answered, heaving a sigh.

"Too bad we couldn't come in summer because of the tour and all the work we had," I added.

It would have been wonderful if we could but it was never easy to get days off. Sometimes I wished that we could be casual people who could take vacations almost whenever they wanted.

"Kouyou," I heard my name and after a second I felt water being splashed on me.

"Yuu, we aren't kids anymore," I laughed, trying to cover my face with my arm.

I wanted to be mean but I couldn't, not to him.

"So what? That doesn't change the fact that we want to fool around. Also, I'm older than you," he said, and he was right.

"Sometimes I think that it's only a number," the words left my lips.

Sometimes it really was hard to believe that he was older because of his childish side but it was one of the many reasons why I loved him so much.

"Besides, there isn't anyone in here, just the two of us," he added and I looked around to see that he once again was right.

Only the two of us standing in the water, with the cold wind playing in our hair. It looked like this place was all ours for the time being. That the sun had stopped and we had the all time in the world. There wasn't anything to worry about, the only thing that was important now was this moment we could share with each other.

"I suppose that sometimes we can-" I finally started talking but couldn't finish because the raven interrupted me, smiling.

"So drop that serious attitude," he said, leaning near to put a small kiss on my lips. I could still feel the cold metal from his lip right on my skin from that touch.

Uruha's POV

Time passed momentarily and even the chilly sun was going to vanish from sight any moment.

"The wind is getting stronger," I said, rubbing my arms and hands.

However, it didn't help.

"You're right and we're both soaking wet. Better get back before we catch a cold," the raven agreed, he was also starting to feel cold.

It wasn't that we weren't wearing warm clothes but as he said, they were moist from fooling around.

"If that happened, Kai would kill us," I added.

It was well-known how easily Kai got angry if we did something stupid and got sick or were late to practice or meetings.

"Yeah, the Leader would be very angry," Aoi said ironically and we burst out laughing, imagining the situation.
