Uruha's POV

"Long time no see, Uruha," I heard a voice near me and looked up.

"Kazuki," was the only word that left my lips, and I felt how disgusting it felt on my tongue.

"Oh, why so angry?" He asked playfully, sitting down on the chair in front me.

We were in a cafe but I'd chosen a more solitary table, so that no one would disturb us even though it still was a public place. I'd known this cafe for some time, so I knew that at this time of day there wouldn't be too many people around.

"We need to talk," I said and it was the only reason why I'd invited him here. He was the last person I would've wanted to have a drink with.

"Oh, I got that from your call, otherwise I wouldn't be here, would I?" He asked sarcastically while playing with his fingers as if he was bored and would've liked to be at any other place. He wasn't the only one who would've rather spent his free time somewhere else.

"Can you drop your act for once?" I asked angrily. I just couldn't stand him anymore. He really annoyed me as he was only standing in front me, not to even mention other things.

"I came, so what do you want? I have many thing to attend to apart from dealing with you, Uruha," he responded and looked at me seriously.

'Don't give me that voice as if you're doing me a favour and I should be thankful that you came, I won't.'

"Did you know that Aoi is in the hospital?" I asked but his eyes gave me the answer before I heard him speak.

"No, I only heard it from you now. But why did you make it sound like it's entirely my fault?" He said without any expression, like it was a totally uninteresting topic to him.

"Don't you care?" I asked.

'Doesn't he feel even a little worried? Aoi was his friend, wasn't he? Or is everything only a game to him?'

"Why should I? I haven't even talked to him for long time. Ever after you left him, he only raved about you; after several weeks had passed without an improvement, I got tired of him," he answered, still looking at his nails as if they were way more interesting. However, all it did was make me even angrier.

"Son of a bitch," I said as I couldn't take his attitude any longer. With pleasure, I would've punched him in the face at that moment but I didn't.

"Watch your words talking about other people's parents, otherwise-" he started but I didn't let him continue.

"I'm not scared of you, Kazuki," I interrupted him icily.

'Not after all the pain you caused me. If I lost Aoi, I have nothing more to lose.'

"Oh really? Did you forget what happened..." he stopped for a few moments while was thinking about something before continuing, "it still hasn't been a year, so more than half a year ago I think. Maybe you want to remember that night again? How it's like to feel other men rape you in the street until you pass out again?" He said, smiling as the devil.

Those words were powerful enough to make the memories came back, and even though I tried to stay as calm and cold as before, my body shivered and I saw that it didn't slip his eyes, making him even more satisfied.
