Tepid: A Gratza Fic

Chapter One

This morning, things were going wonderfully in the Fairy Tail Guild. They had just won the Grand Magic Games, won thirty million jewel, made friends with other guilds, and were awarded a bigger, better guild hall by the mayor of Magnolia. The place looked amazing! Lavished in citric colors of green, orange, and red (ik red isn't really citric, but just go with it), the guild members were excited to enjoy the guild, the improvements, and most importantly, the job opportunities that opened up. Realizing that their friends were not in the guild at the moment, Natsu, Happy, and Lucy decided to catch up and group to take out a mole that has been attacking a village. However, they happened to run into Erza, Wendy, Gray, and Charla just in time to receive more help, all the less having some of their share of reward taken by Gray (asshole).

A few hours later......

The trek to the village was of no hassle as the sun was shining bright and the mages had a kick in their step and a smile on their faces. Now, there was a bit of remorse towards this mission. Not only were the mages covered in a nice skin of mud, but it was a nice trek they had to take back to Magnolia. The sun had basically been an ass to them as it baked the mud into pottery on their skin, making walking hurt. Eventually, they returned to Magnolia to be greeted the night sky, a few stars, and the further they walked, big clouds with.... Rain?

"Oh man, COME ON!" Natsu yelled in frustration. He was at least happy that the mud began to soften and slip off his skin, but irritated that the rain began to pour down. Happy began to chuckle behind Gray, saying "Hey, Maybe Gray's girlfriend is upset because she hasn't seen him in half a day -3-" he mumbles before he gets hit with a chunk of ice. "AAAH! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME GRAY? I WAS JOKING!" Happy cried, flying into Lucy's chest.

"Who's fault was that to joke about that?" Lucy sassed before she smiled, seeing the Guild Hall. "We made it back home!" she cries, walking faster than the group when she saw her apartment complex nearby. "I will see you all tomorrow! Bye guys!" she waves, running to get out of the rain as quickly as possible, but not before grabbing Wendy and attempting to bring Erza along.

"I'm Fine, Lucy. Just get Wendy and the cats to safety. I actually have a few things to discuss with these two.", Erza says, bidding her farewell. Natsu and Gray blanched a bit; not only was the rain making then a bit cold, but they were terrified of what Erza would do to them. They stay quiet and rigid as she takes them towards her apartment in Fairy Hills. As soon as they reach the entrance of the dorm hall, the boys stiffen. Not wanting to stay in the rain much longer, Erza pulls them inside the entrance by their wrists.

"Why are we having this specific discussion in an all-girls residence hall?" Gray shrieks, blushing madly. "I understand you have a few words for us, but I really do not think that this is a good place to have this conversation. I also don't want to be considered a pervert or a creep because I came inside here without permission." Natsu, as usual, found a comeback for Gray's reasoning, saying "So stripping in front of these same girls doesn't make you a perv or a creep? Yeah right, Gray!" Gray began to get irritated because Natsu was trying to instigate something that shouldn't even BE. Before he could stop himself, he retorted with "At least I have the decency to not creep around in other people's apartments like I own the place!" Natsu was going to respond, but his words got caught in his throat. Gray continues, "Im surprised Lucy doesn't consider you a creep at all considering how many times you snuck into her house. And I'm a pervert because I unconsciously strip? That's something I can't help; you can help the fact that every time you creep around her apartment that you sneak into her bedroom, so shut up about me being a creep or perverted, because you are WAY worse than I am, flame brain!"

Natsu was seething. Not only was he insulted, but Gray just had to make a long comeback that would tip him over the edge. Natsu began to be engulfed in flames and Gray began to let his ice make magic drop the temperature surprisingly low as if they weren't cold already. "Take that back, you damn icicle..." Natsu growled. His hands began to engulf in flames and his stance became violent. Gray smirked at him, and his glare became deadly. With a venom laced voice, he spoke, "Let's see you try to make me." Before either of the two boys made a move, Erza stepped in between them.

"Unless you want to know real pain I suggest you two stop this immediately." Her voice was soft, but her eyes weren't; this was enough to make the boys shiver and stop.

"Yes ma'am" they quivered. They followed her to her large room. And were amazed at how much space she actually had. A walk in closet, her bedroom, and a few other rooms combined into one, raising her price to up to 500,000 jewel (I think). She guided them to her living room and told them to "sit still". She went to her bedroom and got three towels and a sponge because they were in need of a nice shower. But first, they had to talk about this rivalry that has been negatively effecting the team. She returned to her living room with hopes of finding a means of piece when she found disaster. Natsu and gray were fighting without their magic- luckily -yet they were punching each other, breaking items in the room, and to top it off, they possibly woke up some of the other girls. Erza was about to pummel them to the ground when she let out a deep breath and tried to approach them. " Okay, boys, that's enou-"

POW!

Their fists hit her in the face with enough force to knock her down. The moment she got back up, she was ready to obliterate their entire existence when a nice though came into her head. "Follow me" she said, turning on her heel and walking further into the house. "sorry, Ma'am" they whimpered as they slowly followed her through her house. They eventually got to her bathroom. The guys were confused until they heard a loud SLAM and saw Erza behind them with the three towels and sponge.

"Erza, what are we doing in here?" Gray asks as he sees her turn the shower water on and finds a nice temperature on both the showerheads. In consideration for the drastically different guys, the left showerhead had cold water and the right showerhead hat hot water. Ezra turns to face Gray and says, "No reason. Strip. Both of you." Natsu and Gray looked confused by her actions and commands.

"WHAT?!" Natsu asked, clealy not too fond of striping in front of either of them. "why do I have to strip? This is Ice Balls's job!"

"Do you have an issue with my request?"

"NO I DON'T! I'LL STRIP!"

Natsu and Gray began to take everything off, and then so did Erza, thinking that this would be an easier way to help them stop this petty bickering. Boy was she in for a surprise that night.
