Music Notes (Hayato Haruki x Reader)

 Ayano picks ups a folder with the words Music on it. It was obvious that it had to do something with singing or playing an instrument. Not many joined the Light Music Club, but one person did. 

It was Hayato Haruki. 

   Which was a good thing because I did like him. If it were a different person, I would have tried so hard to refuse, but not hurt his feelings to much at the same time. Ayano opens the folder and sheets of papers fall out. Cursing to herself, Ayano collects them Kokona walks over to her and helps her pick some up too. Kokona looked at a piece of paper and examined. Reading the notes she smiled. "Hey guys, these are the lyrics to Rather Be." she said. "Rather Be? Those belong to Hayato Haruki. I heard him saying that to Sora." I said. Ayano hands me the papers and I walk my way to the door. Mai looks at me confused. "Hey. Where are you going? There's going to be an event on the beach soon." Mai said. "I'll be back. Returning these to Hayato is my priority right now." I said. 

   I first went to the boys room. When I arrived, Shin told me that Hayato already left to go somewhere. I went to boy to boy and I ended up wondering around. I leaned against the wall to catch my breath. I didn't think that it was this hard to track down one person!!! I closed my eyes as I took out my phone and earbuds. Some music can help me. I thought as I put in shuffle mode. Heading into the door on the right side of the wall. I walked into the room and sat down on a chair that was next to a window. I was too focused watching the beach from the window that I failed to notice the door opening and a student walked in. 

 Narrator's POV 

 Hayato Haruki, a 2nd Year student walked into the music room. He had to find a quiet place away from the shouting of students as they played water fight.  He wanted to make this perfect. Absolutely perfect. To occupied with the earbuds in his ears and the thoughts in his mind. He failed to realize an presence in the room. He sat on the seat and laid out his sheets. Realizing that he left some sheets behind, he groaned. Guess I'll have to just remember it. he thought to himself.  

  He started to play the notes.  (VIDEO IS NOT MINE!!! I ONLY OWN THIS PLOT!!!!!) 

It was the same song that was playing in his and the other person's earbuds. Then both phones shut off due to low battery. However because of Hayato's music. The two had thought nothing of it. Quietly at first, but as they sang to. They sang louder.

  (Y/N)'s POV 

  I jumped when I heard whistling and clapping from behind me. I turned around to see all of my friends and probably the whole school crowded at the doorway. Kokona and Saki came to my side. Ayano trailing quietly behind. "That was awesome!!! You and Hayato should be in band together!!!" said Saki as I blinked confusingly. "What?" I questioned her. This time it was her to be confused. "You realize that he was in the same room the whole time right?" she asks me as I nod my head. "No, I thought that I was singing to the song on my phone." I said as I raised up my phone. "Looks like your phone was dead. Ironically it's the same with Hayato." said Sora as he high fives me. 

  "Hey!!! How about we all get together for another water fight!!!! (Y/N) and Hayato weren't in it and we can't let them have all the fun!!!" said Riku. Everyone agreed and headed to the door. Soon only me and Hayato were left. I turned around and headed to the door, but I was stopped by Hayato. Hayato scratched behind his head before asking me nervously, "Hey. You want to hang out sometime? We can go to that diner we passed by yesterday. My treat." I smiled, "Yeah sure. Pick me up at 1:00 p.m. okay." I said as I walked away. I couldn't see his grin, but I could hear his happy whooping as he dashes away.
