"Alexander." I sobbed grabbing onto him as he looked at me worriedly.

"What? What happened Winter?" He asked sounding completely worried.

Everything had gotten completely silent and I could feel practically all eyes on us.

"Can we leave?" I whispered not looking up too embarrassed by the fact that I had made such a scene.

Mom would be utterly horrified by my behavior. Could you blame me though? Would you be okay with a random man placing his friend in between your legs without consent?

"Of course." Alexander said grabbing my hand and quickly pulling us out of the palace and away from the awful people in it.

"Can you get our carriage?" He snapped at the guy who stood looking at us in disbelief.

"Of course." The man nodded before walking down and calling over our carriage.

"What happened?" Alex said pulling me closer to him.

His arms wrapped protectively around my waist as he pulled me closer to him like I would crumble away if he let me go.

"Can we discuss this during the ride?" I asked looking up at Alexander for a brief second before looking away embarrassed by how I must look right now.

Alex didn't reply but just stood patiently holding me in his arms waiting for our ride. Eventually the guy came back and helped us into the carriage before waving us off to go home.

"Now, what happened?"

I explained the whole night to Alex, from the guy coming up to me to me running away crying. Honestly I want to be curled up under my sheets forgetting about this whole night but Alexander always made things bearable for me.

"It's okay." He said pulling me into him and holding me in his arms.

I sat up with my face only being inches away from his as Alex placed both of his hands on my cheeks. My eyes fluttered to Alex's lips before looking back into his eyes noticing that Alex was doing the same.

"Kiss me."

"Anything you ask my dear, I will do." Alex said leaning in and pressing his lips to mine.

It was like I was walking on the clouds! This kiss was sweet and soft not like our usual rough or quick kisses, it was sincere.

Alex pulled away still holding my face in his hands blurting out something I didn't expect to hear for years, "I love you."

My eyes were practically popping out of my head and I almost cried in excitement. Never have I had someone tell me that they love me and especially not a man who I have become closer to than any person in my life.

The words slipped out and I couldn't have made them sound so perfect in this moment, "I love you too."

Alex quickly pulled my face to his kissing me more passionately making each kiss seem sweeter than the last.

We broke apart when the carriage stopped letting us know that I was home and it would be a while until I would see Alex again.

"Goodbye my love." Alex called as I stepped into my house waving him a small goodbye.

This night went from utter chaos to completely perfect in under a few hours and I have never been happier to have Alex in my life.

I began my walk towards the stairs to head to my room and all I could pray for right now was for my mother not to come out of her room and ask why I am home so early.
