Chapter Two-
So picking up from the last chapter I decided something had to change. It was either my personality or looks. WIthin a matter of days I had contacts, new clothes, new hair, and look on life. Don't get me wrong! I was in absolutely NO way doing this so I could find a boyfriend. Trust me, I was doing this to feel better about myself. Yes, girls like to be called pretty and beautiful but when they don't believe it themselves...well you have someone like me. Moving on now. Hockey. The words that came into my mind when I thought of hockey was smelly, mean, fighting men. The kind of guy you see lurking in the shadows outside walmart. For me, going to my brothers hockey was more of a punishment then joyful time. I hated the parents, hated the players, and hated the way people use to stare at the girl with her noose in a book.
Now lets rewind a bit to see my first 'relationship' end in a horrid mess. I was in fifth grade. The ideal boy was all mine. Blonde, tall, athletic, smart this boy was amazing. I guess you could say we were childhood sweethearts. Sadly the whole thing ended because his best friend thought I was gross. Trust me, fifth grade I was the popular pretty girl. Middle school set me down the popularity scale a few meters, but thats not the point. The point is that my ex and his best friend are STILL bestfriends!
ASSHOLES.
Okay back to the present...well back to freshman me. So there I was walking into school all dolled up with my clothes and makeup. No glasses. Any guess on what happened? No? Well I made a couple new friends! And not just girls...BOYS! (Keep in mind I have alot of guy friends now and that this was 1 1/2 years ago.)
So my life was more fun now that I had friends. So getting back to the hockey part of the story. After a few weeks of the new Sam I went to one of his games. I didn't pay attention to the team members, I was just there to read. (The nerd side of me still won over) So it was not brought to my attention that we recieved new team members this year after some left. Don't worry though we will meet them soon enough.
Thanks for reading! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas:) Leave comments or questions! Thanks again:)
