Baby Sitting and Secret Dating.

"Don't cook while were gone!" Harry swung his jacket from the rack on to his shoulders.

"James,if you ever want to go to that Quidditch camp,be responsible."Harry pulled the door open "I want every one here in one piece when I get back."he jabbed a finger at his oldest son,who stood tall in front of his father.

"You can count on me dad!"James made finger guns (a habit,at this point)

"I hope." Harry said more to himself,pulling the door closed behind him.

James rushed to the window the second the door had closed.He watched  a bright blue light of a portkey fade out.That meant his parents had left and now he's responsible for his sister,brother and brother's friend for a night.

Next,he idled his way to the stairs calling up: "HEY,ALBUS!"his voiced bounced off the walls of the stair well

"WHAT!?"He got as a response

"COME DOWN HERE,AND BRING SCORPIUS TOO."

Moments later two teenage wizards came trotting down the stairs,grumbling.

"What do you want,James?"Albus asked,exasperated. He knew what ever it was its  not going to be fun for him.

"Lily's yours tonight."James singed songed.

"WHAT!?Why?"Albus raised his voice,fists clenched.

"Because.."James was in too much of a good mood. "I know about you two."he riggled fingers at  his fifth year brother and his best friend. "And your little secret."

The two friends looked at each other with concern. "What...secret?"Scorpius dared.

"Oh,you know.....that you two are....."he whispered the last part,having to much fun with this "dating."

That made Scorpius and Albus immediately flush. Scorpius put his hand over his face and bowed his head.

"Ya,.....don't think I  didnt catch you two holding hands underneath the table."James continued,making the pair in question more flustered. "Or the looks you guys give each other!Golden."

"And I'll tell Mom and Dad if you don't babysit Lily so I can go out with Teddy Lupin and the gang to the leaky cauldron.

"Mom and Dad won't care!" Albus urged.

"That your dating a boy?....Hardly.But that you've been keeping it a secret for what?How long now? Six...Seven months."

Albus was grinding his teeth together at this point,his bitten nails leaving marks in his palms.While his boyfriend in question bowed his head into his hands and shook it proferesly as if apologizing and begging for mercy.

"Fine."Albus said threw clenched teeth (It came out a bit more like a growl)

"Oh!Aren't you just a doll!"James pinched his brother's freckled Face in mock,heading for the entry way. "Don't cook and I expect  everybody in one piece!"He swung the door open,waving one last goodbye before closing behind him.

After,Albus turned to Scorpius who had pulled his face out from his hands.

"What do we do now."Scorpius asked.

"I guess,we babysit Lily."Albus shrugged. "Hey."he said softly,the voice he uses when he comforts people "it won't be that bad." Albus took his hand.

"I'm not worried about that." Scorpius looked down at their hands.

Albus squeezed his hand and kissed Scorpius on the cheek,a reassuring gesture.

"Let's see what hell awaits us in Lily's room"Albus whispered.Scorpius smiled,bowing his head again.He does that when he's embarrassed or blushing.
