OMG DO YOU SEE WHO I SEE?!? ITS A REALLY HOT GUY ALMOST AS HOT AS ME!!! He has dreamy green eyes and black hair and he's hanging out with a group of sort of ugly guys.
"Congrats Percy!" The guy with curly hair and a beanie said "I'll buy the next round!"
"Thanks Grover" Hot guy with abs said "Especially since I won't be drinking anymore after today!" Everyone roared with laughter.
"What about the after party?" An emo dude interjected "The wine and champagne?"
"Annabeth decided not to serve alcohol" Cute dude said.
"Oh well!" A sunny guy with blond hair said "Me and nico don't care!"
The emo person grumbled "I wanted beer"
The chattering continued. I was too distracted with the hot guy to notice my ex come up to me.
"Heyyyyyy" He said slurring "Howdyyaa wannaaa kisssss"
"Go away Steven" I said " You're not my boyfriend anymore"
He Sniggered " Well it's not like you have anyone elseeee"
I started panicking, my eyes darting around the room. I zoomed in on the hot dude. Score!
"Um excuse me" I said snottily " I do have a boyfriend"
He looked confused for a second then smirked.
" Oh really, whereee then?"
I started walking towards the hot dude, hips swaying and lips puckered.
"This is my boyfriend!" I said proudly knowing that my looks would win him over and I'd have a new boyfriend by the end of the night.
"Umm...." The hot boy said " And who are you?"
My smile faltered
"Your um girlfriend!"

"I don't know you..." He started to say, then he caught a glimpse of my ex, giggling with his nasally voice.
He then stood up and glared at my ex. My ex immediately stopped laughing and ran off. I looked at him hopefully, but he shook his head.
"Why?!" I asked starting to tear up " am I not pretty enough?!"
"No, don't cry" He said gently " I already had a fiancée. I choked.
"What?!" I exclaimed between sniffles
His nod was confirmation enough. My heart shattered. What really attracted me to him was his kindness, his ease. If I was his fiancé he would treat me like a queen. I ran. Away. Don't look back.
