You as an older sister loved your little sister but you hated the fact that she extremely younger than you. You were 24. She was 5. You barely had the time to spend with her because of your career. You love spending time with her and you made a promise to your parents that you would be a better big sister and spend more time with her. But you kinda wish you didn't, at least not now. YOUR PARENTS STAY PICKING THE WRONG TIME TO DO STUFF! For about the past month you have been sick, not feeling good at times. Your loving boyfriend of 4 years, Oh Mintaek or Elo tries to come home early to take care of you. You don't want him to worry about you but he refusing to leave alone in your state of being.
You tried to tell your parents maybe another time but Mintaek refused to not let your little sister come. If there was someone who loved your sister more than your family it would be Mintaek. He's always spoiling her, treating her more like his child than his future sister in law. But the way he treats your sister is one thing you love about him. He's always been so caring of her ever since he met her when she was 1. You woke up to a man singing. The voice sounded so familiar. It was no one other than your singing boyfriend. "My jagi. Wake up beautiful. Nana is coming over today. Remember?" "God, I feel like you love Nana more than you love me." "If that were true I would spend more time with her. Get up my beautiful rose." You groaned because you didn't want to get up. He sighed and threw the cover off of you. He picked up and carried you in his arms. "MINTAEK!" "You play like you don't want me to carry you. But I know deep down, you want me to."
He carried you into the living room and sat you on the couch. He sat next to you. You want to cuddle with him but you felt the urge you feel every morning. You covered your mouth and ran into the bathroom. You dropped to your knees and emptied your stomach into the toilet just like every morning. You heard the front door to your apartment open and you heard everyone through the walls of the bathroom. "Where's Y/N?" Your mom asked. "She's not feeling too great. I've been pushing her to go to doctor but she says she's fine. Eomeoni, I'm worried." You stood up and washed your hands and mouth. You walked into the living room. "I'm fine. Nana! Come here!" She ran over and you got on her knees. She hugged you and you hugged back. "Unnie! Are you okay?" "I'm fine Nana. Don't worry about me." "I have to." She replied. You let go and stood up.
"Umm...Yeobo, why don't you, Nana, and Mintaek set up the guest room for Nana. I need to talk to Y/N." Your mom said. Your dad nodded and grabbed Nana and walked down the hall to find the guest room. Mintaek kissed your cheek and followed your dad. "Sick? What happened?" "I don't know. It just happened." "Symptoms?" "I'm not 12 Eomma." You replied. She put her hand on your head. "No fever. Tell me your symptoms. How long as this been going on?" "Since when is my mom, my doctor?" She gave you a quick smack to the back of the head. "Yah! You see why I was in a rush to move out when I was 18!" "What are your symptoms?" "I'm always tired. I always throw up in the morning for some reason it's weird. Bad headaches. My breath is shorter than normal. Sometimes my back aches. Cramping. I just don't know what's wrong." Her eyes widen. She grabbed my hand and squeezed it tight. "I know this isn't my business but...tell me something. Are you and Mintaek safe?" You were confused for a minute then realized what she was talking about. "Yes! We have always been safe. You do you think that..." "There's a possibility."
Your breathing was unsteady. You always thought about children with Mintaek but after marriage. You put your hand on stomach. Tears were forming. "Y/N look at me." You looked at your mom. "It's okay. There is nothing wrong with being pregnant. And if you are, I'll be there for you for support. I've been in your shoes ." "But eomma you and appa were married when you had me." "We got married while I was 4 months pregnant with you." She admitted. You put your head on her shoulder. "Eomma I'm scared." "You'll be fine. I should go. Yeobo! Let's go!" You lifted your head and stood up. You hugged her and your dad. You opened the door for them. "Promise you'll follow all the guidelines that's in Nana's bag." "Wow eomma, I thought she was my sister not a pet." She gave you another smack to the head. "YAH EOMMA!" "Bye Y/N." You shut the door and thought about what she said. Are you and Mintaek safe?
You thought about it. That quickie in the studio. You told him you didn't want to do it there but he insisted because he missed you. "Jagi? You okay?" You looked up and saw Mintaek holding Nana at his waist. You thought about it for a little at how Mintaek would make a good father. "I'm fine. I'm going to the store to pick up a few things." "UNNIE! CAN WE GO?!" "I was going to go by myself-" "Please jagi." Mintaek begged. You rolled your eyes. "Fine." You watched as he put Nana down and began to jump around. You thought to yourself that you were really babysitting two children. You took a shower and put on some clothes. You grabbed Mintaek and Nana and drove to the store.
In the store they were running and playing around just like children. Only Nana had an excuse to act like a child. But you were glad Mintaek was distracted. You quickly made your way to section you never thought you would be in for awhile. You stood there looking at them. They were looking back at you. You thought you would in this aisle maybe years from now. I grabbed the one that was in the middle. "Excepting?" You heard a female voice. You looked to your left to saw a woman who looked middle aged. You gave her a shy smile. "Children are bundles of joy. You'll love them." She gave you a thumbs up and walked away. You sighed and hide the tests and walked back to find Mintaek and Nana.
Finally you found them in the candy aisle. Like always. The cart was full of candy. "MINTAEK!" He looked back at me and his eyes were wide open. "This is why eomma doesn't want you babysit Nana alone." You looked at Nana. "As for you young lady, you know you're not supposed to have that much sugar." "Sorry unnie." She apologized as she ran over to Mintaek and held onto his leg. He picked her up and comforted her. "She always runs to you when I try to discipline her." You said. You put back some of the candy back, leaving only her favorites and some of yours because you like candy as well. "Mintaek, you and Nana can go to car. I got this." "Okay." He said. He gave you a quick peck on the lips. You watched him leave with Nana still in his arms. You were jealous at how he paid her more attention than you but then again you were being selfish. You've been with him for 4 years. You paid for everything and grabbed your groceries and walked outside to put your car. As you were driving Mintaek put his hand on your thigh.
"She's asleep and I really want to talk to you about something." He said. "What is it?" You asked. "Jagi in the future, we'll have kids right?" Your eyes widen and looked at him. "Yeah but in the future." He smiled and grabbed your hand. "Our children will inherit my good looks and my singing talent. I don't know what they'll get from you." You rolled your eyes.
.
After dinner you tucked Nana in. And you took the test. You waited for the results as you paced back and forth in the bathroom. The timer on your phone went off. It's time! You grabbed the little stick and read it. Two pink lines. You're pregnant! You didn't know how to feel about it. You were happy, yet sad, yet confused. "Jagi! You okay in there?" "Yeah, I'm fine." You put the test in the drawer and took a deep breath and calmed down. You opened the door and saw him standing right there. You grabbed his hand and made him sit down on the bed next to you. "We need to talk." "Is everything okay?" He asked. "Oppa, I'm pregnant." He chuckled and look at you. His smile went away. "Are you serious?" You nodded. You saw the tears forming in his eyes. "We're having a baby?" You nodded once again. A huge smile appeared on his face as tears fell from his eyes. He hugged you tightly. "Not so tight oppa. You're hurting your child." He let go and kissed your lips then your stomach. "I love you." He said. "I love you too."
"I love our baby too. They'll be the a little me." You rolled your eyes at his comment.
