You loved your life. You loved everything about it. You came from a poor place. You didn't have anything growing up. You worked for everything you have today. You are the manager at your job. BITCH YOU ARE MAKING BIG MONEY OUT HERE!(im sorry) But the two things you loved most about your life is your husband and your little daughter. They were everything to you. If you didn't have them your life would be lonely. You met Seonghwa while you were on your junior year in college at Seoul National University. To pay your student loans off you worked at a coffee shop and that's when you met him. The love of your life. You'll never forget that quick conversation you had. "What will it be..." You remember just staring at his beautiful face. "Just a black coffee and your name and number. And your relationship status." You were confused. You looked around you and pointed to yourself. "Me?" He nodded and smiled. And that was how you met the love of your life.
Now after you finished college you married him and had a baby. Lee Ji Eun. You loved her ever since you first held her. She's your pride and joy. But the older she got the more and more she never understood why daddy had to leave. Seonghwa, being Gray away from home, is busy most of the time. Tours, late nights in the studio, everything else of being an artist. You hated how much time he was not home. Him being home as little as he is kills Ji Eun. "Mommy! Where's Daddy?" The line that broke your heart every time she asked it. You just gave a simple answer that was always wrong. "He'll be back in a few days sweetheart." Those days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. You missed him just as much as she did. You missed the nights you spent together. You missed the way his arms would wrap around you. You missed him, completely.
"MOMMY!" You jumped up off the couch and rushed to her room. You opened the door to see her holding the photo album. You walked over and sat down next to her. She pointed to one of wedding pictures. "You looked so happy back then. When was this?" She asked. "If you're 3, this picture is 4 years old. Mommy's not that old." "Your mommy's right. She's not that old." You looked over at the door and saw Seonghwa standing there. "DADDY'S HOME!" Ji Eun yelled and ran over to him. You watched Seonghwa picked her up and held her on his waist. You wondered if she even loved you at all. Seonghwa looked at you. "Why is mommy sad?" He asked. "She missed you." Ji Eun said. You stood up. "I'll go make dinner." You completely ignored that Seonghwa was home and just made dinner.
"Yeobo." You heard Seonghwa call out. "Ne?" He wrapped his arms around your waist. "Did you miss me?" He asked. "Of course. But I'm fine." "You sound depressed. What else has happened?" He asked. "You're never here. You never answer my calls or texts till late. You promised to be my shoulder to cry on but you weren't. My cousin almost died Seonghwa!" Tears forming in eyes. You dropped to the floor and began to sob. He got on the floor and hugged me. "I'm so sorry yeobo. Don't cry, I'm here now." He said wiping away your tears. You put your head in his chest and smiled. "That's the smile I love to see when I get home." "Shut up." You hit his chest playfully. "I want a hug!!" You heard the screams of daughter. He chuckled and opened his arms. "Get in here Ji Eun!" She ran over and jumped into the hug. "I love Mommy and Daddy." "We love you too."
