Annies POV Chapter 2

I get of the car and see a tiny puppy, it was so tiny. I pick it up and notice that he can't open his eyes. I put him in the back seat and drive to a gas station. At this point I don't really care about gymnastics. I care more about this puppy. I buy a water bottle and some paper towel, and a cookies and cream Chocolate bar. As I'm walking out I open the wrapper to my chocolate and start to eat it. I take one square and eat it, than another one, and than another one. I finished a whole row of the Hershey bar before I reached the car. I get into the back seat to grab the pup. I dig the water and paper towel out of the bag and poor the water on the towel. I gently rub it on his eyes until the crust is gone. I clean his ears, and drive him back home. I ask mom if I can keep him but trust me it took a lot of begging because we already have 3 dogs. I put him in my room to rest with some food and water. I finally start to actually drive to gymnastics.
I arrive at first class gymnastics and see Katie's car. I park right next to it and than lock my doors. I walk into the homeschool classroom and drop my school stuff off and my purse. I run down to the gym and tell my coaches why I was late. They where all fine with it, but Katie wasn't. She told me she was worried about me. She said it wasn't like me to be late. I tell her that I could go over to her house after gymnastics if she wasn't busy. She said that she would text her mom and ask during break.
(Break) (Katie and her moms text messages.)
K: hey mom
M: Ya?
K: Can Annie spend the night tonight?
M: Yeah if you guys are alright with sleeping in the living room and with Brennan and Ryan?
K: I'm sure she's fine with it, but why do they have to be out there?
M: Because I'm redoing the floors in your guys room today.
K: oh ok
( end of convo )
I ask Katie if I can and she says yes but than she tells me the situation. I say fine because Brennan and Ryan are like brothers to me. I text mom and she says okay.
( after gymnastics. )
I tell Katie that I'm going back home just to clean up a bit and eat. She nods her head as she's stuffing her face with crackers. We both get into our cars and drive off.
