Uldren Sov x Reader

Uldren's POV

I growled lowly, marching around the Reef with a clipboard, my sister;The Queen of The Awoken, throwing a party to celebrate the guardian who took down and captured Skolas. As I looked around every worthless light wielder shook and bowed away, most going back to their stupid ships. All except one... They were annoying but more tolerable than most, Y/N was their name, the one who had taken down Skolas. They looked at me and waved as they tried to smile but their metal plating not allowing the small show of emotion through, but I could tell all the same that they were in a good mood. I grumbled as I continued to check off the decorations that were shipped to us from the Tower for this pointless party.

"Howdy, Uldren," they exclaimed before they hugged me.

I stiffened dropping my clipboard. Others looked at me with shock, shaking my head I growled blushing a harsh blue, and shoving Y/N away causing both of us to stagger from the force. A scowl crossed my face, I grumbled picking up the list and the pen.

"Leave me be Hunter!" I snarled as I tried to keep them out of my head to focus on the task at hand.

"C'mon Uldren get that stick outta your rear and lighten up! I wanted to ask ya something..." they trailed off at the last bit, catching my attention, but I acted like I didn't care.

"What could possibly be so important that you just had to come to me about it," I growled glaring at the Exo from the corner of my eye.

"W-well... Um... I.." they coughed as their E/C robotic eyes dimmed seeming to find the floor interesting enough to stare at it. I was thoroughly surprised! The once energetic, forward Exo was fumbling over their own words.

"Go on, spit it out! I don't have all day to dawdle on this one question!" I exclaimed, tapping my foot impatiently and hugging the clipboard to my chest, waiting for them to ask whatever was on their mind. They took a deep breath and closed their optics tight.

"Iwaswonderingifyiuwoukdliketojoinmeatthepartytonight!" they rushed. My eyes widened at their request as I felt the heat once again rush to my face, my poor abused clipboard falling to the floor yet again. I gulped as I motioned them to follow me to a more private area to talk, taking the list of course.

Once I was sure no one could hear or see us I sighed and relaxed a little. I looked down at the flustered Exo ready to give them my answer, nervous as heck but I knew what I wanted to do, but also thought of my reputation. I gulped a little unsure... But answered anyways.

"N-no..." I stuttered, I mentally slapped myself. 'THAT'S NOT WHAT I WANTED TO SAY!' I clenched my fists tightly looking them in the eye hoping they would notice my un-intended lie.

"Wha-? P-please?!" they begged. I frowned, shoulders shaking slightly as I hugged them tightly. It felt odd... I had once hated their guts, but... But now, it all changed.

"I meant to say... Y-yes," I stood up normally again giving them a crooked smile. They squeaked and tackled me, causing me to stagger back a bit but stay upright as I grasped their waist.

"Thank you! You have no idea how much this means to me," they shouted happily. I smiled softly as I gave them a small squeeze before releasing them from my grasp.

"I should go and finish checking off the decorations," I mumbled. Smirking at a small idea. I leaned down and pecked their cold metal cheek, quickly walking off before they could say or do anything else, and going back to work mode.

Everyone was chatting, dancing, drinking, or singing to the songs. I smiled seeing as the party was a success! But, I was waiting on one guardian... Y/N having yet to make an appearance. But, as I was about to leave the meeting place, people began to scream and cheer. I turned around to find a stunning looking Exo walking through the crowd, my eyes widening, my breath caught in my throat as they made their way to me.

"This party is amazing," they said just loud enough for me to hear. I smiled and nodded, not caring much anymore if anyone saw me like this with Y/N.

"Care to dance," I questioned as I bowed slightly, holding my arm out to guide them to the dance floor, feeling myself relax more and more each second they were around. They giggled and hooked their arm arm with mine giving a small and shy nod. I felt everyone stare at the two of us but I ignored them, Y/N being the center of my attention.

"You look amazing tonight," I mumbled blushing dark blue as they looked up at me. Seemingly trying to smile.

"Thank you," they mumbled hugging me tightly. I blushed darker, hesitantly placing my hands on their waist as we slowly danced to the music provided.

"I had a lot of fun," they said quietly as we stopped in front of their ship.

"As did I," I said softly, a blue hue dusting my cheeks. I looked down at them giving a small smile as they nodded about to walk in their ship. I panicked grabbing their wrist pulling them into my chest careful not to hurt them. They squeaked as they flew into my chest, my face heating up immensely. Acting on emotions alone, I cupped their cool metal cheek, leaning down I kissed them... I felt them stiffen under my touch, but relax and nudged me back. Kissing back the best they could. Pulling away I sighed softly my face practically in flames.

"N-night, Uldren," they whispered standing on their toes and pecked my cheek. I stiffened, eyes wide as they waved flirtatiously. Mouthing 'I love you' As they shut the door

I brushed my fingers against my cheek blushing royal blue before walking off with a goofy grin on my face.

"Love you to," I muttered looking back at their ship.
