I was walking down the street making my way to my house, it was currently summer so I wore the coolest of outfits I had;^ the only problem was hiding my tail. Having it wrapped around my torso only made me sweat more and damn it was HOT! Opening the door to my house I walked into the kitchen grabbing a popsicle from the freezer bitting a big chunk from it, after finishing I threw away the stick and ran to my room to cool down in the a.c. As I opened my door I admired the posters and art I had over my walls; closing the door behind me I turned on the ac and relaxed allowing my tail to finally be free.

As I was about to doze off a knock caused me to spring off of the bed "(f/n)? We need to talk" My fathers voice said from behind the door. My dad had told me my mother died giving birth to me, he said she was a demon named Lilith she was high ranked and managed to create herself a human form, she was also the goddess of death which kinda creeps me out that my mom could give you death wishes; she crashed into my dad one day and started spending time together and as time passed the became closer until they had me and she died. "Sure" I replied groggily as if I just woke up, the room door opened as he poked his head out from behind the door, slowly he closed the door making his way to the bed sitting at the foot of it "What's up?" I asked "Darling I don't know if you're gonna take this as bad or good news but I am sending you to True Cross Academy" My eyes widened with shock, I mean I like it here but isn't that place for like nerds? How am I going there? Yeah I do good at school but not that good

"W-why?" I asked shakily "I think it's safer for you there and I am friends with the principal" I understand what he means by safer for me actually I don't, how is a school that big supposed to be safer?! "How the hell is that place supposed to be safer?!" I yelled "Tone please, you'll know why when you get there and start packing your leaving in a few days" my mouth dropped as he got off the bed "I thought you loved me why are you sending me away?" I said "I do love you and this is for your safety" he finally said before disappearing behind the door; I got off the bed before heading to my closet to get some bags.
