MGK and his Melody (an MGK FanFic)

I was standing at the front desk at Denny's, where I worked, and it was about 3 or 4 in the morning, and I was exhausted. "Melody," my boss said, making his way towards me, "if no one comes in the next.." He trailed off and looked at the clock. " ..half an hour or so, I'll let you go home early, sound good?" I nodded. He walked back into the kitchen and I turned back towards the doors.

10 or 15 minutes passed and a group of guys walked in. I looked up from my stand to see MGK, Slim, Dub-o, Rookie and Dre standing in front of me. My mouth opened a little and I felt a shiver of excitement. I quickly closed my mouth and took my earphone out, which was ironically playing 'Hold On Shut Up' by MGK himself. I had to compose myself, he always has girls all over him, and I wanted to be different.

"Table for 5?" I asked, as if I didn't even know who was standing in front of me. Slim nodded and I grabbed 5 menus. "Right this way" I directed them towards a table. I set the menus down at each spot. "Can I start you off with anything to drink?" I said, trying to rain as in fan-girlish as possible.

"Nahhhhh," MGK slurred out, he was a little wasted. He must have just gotten done with his concert."I got thissss" he pointed to a bottle of vodka Dre had under his jacket. "But I will take a slice of that" he pointed at me. I tried my hardest not to blush, but I felt a little red fill my cheeks. I smiled. "I'll just give you some time to look at the menu" I turned around and tried not to look so ecstatic as I walked into the kitchen. I heard a "Damn!" Come from behind me, and to be honest I felt kinda proud.

I went past the cooks and hurried into the employee bathroom. I let out a little squeal of excitement then pulled myself together again. I looked at myself on the mirror and studied myself. My dark brown straight hair back in a ponytail, I had makeup on thank god, a bottoned up collared shirt and a black skirt, and if course and apron. I re-did my ponytail and touched up my make-up. I looked myself up and down, then un-did one of the buttons on my shirt. Just for a little more cleavage.

I walked back out after what I thought was the correct amount if time, to see if they were ready. "You guys ready to order?" I asked smiling, trying to seem normal. I saw MGK's eyes go straight down past my eyes and down to my shirt, which is kinda what I wanted to happen. He stayed for a few seconds until Rookie broke the silence. "I'll have an omelette with ham, and 4 pancakes and a side of bacon please" he said sweetly. I wrote down his order. They all went around the table and ordered their food and I wrote them down, and then it came to Kells. "Can I just get some pancakes and bacon please?" I nodded and wrote down his order and started to walk away when he stopped me "and hey, what's yo name girl?" I turned around, very surprised he was interested in me. "Melody" I said, trying to sound cavalier. "That's a fiiiine ass name for a fiiiine ass girl." He said. I smiled at him. "Can I get yo numba?" He said, smirking. I had to think of something clever. "We'll see" I winked at him and turned away to walk in the kitchen again. I heard a mix of oooooohhhhh!'s and daammmmnnn!'s coming from his crew.

We'll see. We'll see?! That's the best I could come up with? Ugh, I gotta step up my game if I'm gonna land Kells. I gave the cooks their orders and waited around for a bit for them to finish cooking. Should I give him my number? I can't think straight. How would I do it? When would I do it? Ugh, I don't wanna come off the wrong way. I gotta think. Their food was done so I brought it out to them, trying to remain calm and contained. I handed it out when I had to reach over Kells, now was the time.

I "accidentally" dropped my phone number in front of him. I put down his plate of food and hurried away. But before I went through the doors I turned around and have him a smirk as we made eye contact. Let the games begin.
