[This takes place 6 months after the first book]
Third p.o.v
Kazuto looked at asada closely. She was sleeping on his bed as her head was gently laid on his chest and her arm wrapped around his stomach. He smiled and patted her head before phone went off. He picked it up and looked at it.
One new message.
Kazuto groaned as he opened it up.
To:Kirito
From:?????
Stay away from my Asada-San.Kazuto's brows furrowed together before replying back to the unknown person.
To:?????
From:Kirito
Who is this?Once he finished sending the message Asada's head began to lift up and she yawned.
"What are up so early?" She asked while looking up at him.
"I couldn't sleep," Kazuto replied before running a hand through his hair.
Asada punched him on his arm playfully, "that's not an excuse. Let's both go back to sleep so you don't fall over later today because of your lack of sleep."
Kazuto wanted to decline but knew better than to do so. He laid back down and wrapped his arms around Asada and pulled her closer.
This time Asada waited until he was asleep before closing her eyes, but even though she tried so hard she couldn't fall back asleep. She felt very uneasy for some reason and felt as if someone was watching them.
~A little while later~
Kazuto finally regained his consciousness because the smell of bacon being cooked in the other room.
He stretched his arms before throwing the blanket off of him and headed to the kitchen.
That's when he saw Asada humming slightly as she cracked a couple of eggs and poured the insides into the pan.
Kazuto smirked at the sight of her because she had on one of his shirts, which went down to her middle part of her thighs.
He silently made his way towards her without being detected. Kazuto slid his arms around her waist.
Asada jumped up and made a small squeak-like noise before looking back at him.
"When did you wake up?" She asked in embarrassment before turning her head and focusing on their breakfast.
"Not that long ago" He mumbled into her neck, "So.... When did you wake up?"
Asada bit the inside of her cheek before responding. "About thirty minutes ago," She lied.
She never was able to go back asleep so she decided to make breakfast instead.
Kazuto knew she was lying but decided not to provoke his beloved girlfriend.
After their breakfast the two started to get ready for the day. Asada needed to be at school soon and Kazuto had other plans that involved AO, but didn't tell Asada.
Once they were dressed, Kazuto sat on the couch and waited for Asada to grab her backpack.
"Kazuto.." She whispered before hugging him tightly.
"Yes?" He asked her in confusion.
"You better go to school..And be careful, Baka" Asada exclaimed with a smile.
When Asada left, Kazuto could tell something was off. 'Maybe she was thinking of leaving him' He thought.
He sat there silently before thinking back to a couple of months ago with Asuna.
"Asuna please listen my name is kazuto.....kirito is an online character and maybe i would have more feelings for if you had loved me for kazuto AND kirito" He said quietly, "But my heart now belongs to asada and yes I will always have some feelings for you but i will always like you as a friend and i think thats what we stay as".
Kazuto wondered if Asuna did genuinely loved him. He also questioned Asuna's sanity. It seemed that she was always apologizing for something she's repeatedly do or It seemed that she was a character in a very bad fanfiction written with a twisted mind for the enjoyment of others.
He put on his nervegear and laid down on Asada's and his shared bed. "3....2....1, Link Start!"
Kazuto spawned into the cabin and came face to face with Asuna and Klein.
"Hey Kirito." The two greeted the young male.
"What are you guys doing here? Don't we have school today?" Kirito/Kazuto asked in confusion.
Asuna looked at him, "No, They cancelled school because of the storm."
"Storm?" Kirito/Kazuto looked confused.
"Yeah, didn't ya hear ?... There's a giant storm coming this way" Klein commented.
"I-I have to go." Kazuto said before logging out.
Once he returned to reality Kazuto could hear the sound of the rain drops falling onto the roof. It continued to fall harder as he grabbed his jacket and helmet before rushing outside.
Kazuto jumped onto his bike and began speeding down the street as he looked for Asada.
After a while, he noticed a small petite figure sitting down on the ground while leaning on the gate near the school.
He parked his bike before jumping off and rushing to the unconscious figure. As he got closer he knew it was Asada. Her wet hair had covered her face but she still was recognizable.
Once he was right in front of her he gently placed his hand on her forehead. Asada's eyes opened slightly as she looked up.
"Kazuto?" She whispered.
Kazuto looked at her and took off his jacket. "C'mon, We need to get you home."
He put his jacket over her shoulders and picked her up bridal style.
Kazuto didn't know how the two were going to get back home on the bike. After thinking about it Kazuto decided to come back for the bike.
"Kazuto..." Asada whimpered his name out.
"We'll be home soon, Asada." Kazuto replied before clenching onto the girl tighter as he rushed to the house.
When they finally made it there, Kazuto rushed inside the house and placed Asada into the bathroom.
"Asada" He exclaimed before tapping her cheek.
"Y-Yes?" She whispered back.
"I'm going to turn the shower on, After that I need you to get in and I'll leave some warm clothes for you on the counter. I should be back by the time you are done" Kazuto told her before kissing her head and turning to leave.
"Kazuto, wait.."Asada called for him.
"Yes?" He turned his head towards her.
"Be careful" She warned him as she smiled slightly.
"Don't worry, I will."
