When the pair arrived at Asuna's, they both took noticed of the dark haired girl that clung to Asuna. She was incredibly pale and the two could tell straight away she was ill. Parking his bike infront of the house, Kazuto stepped off before turning to help Asada off.
"I'm glad you guys came. This is my girlfriend, Yuuki." Asuna greeted them, a smile on her face but it was clear that it was forced and held regrets.
"Thank you for having us." Asada said, wrapping her arm around Kazuto shyly.
"Asuna has told me so many things about you." Yuuki commented as they all made their way inside. "Is it true you guys are the one that won the B.O.B tournament for the last two years straight?!"
"Uh yeah." Kazuto exclaimed with a small smile.
"That's so cool. I'm going have to get that game so I can try and beat ya."
Asuna just smiled lovingly at the girl before gesturing for the other's to follow, "C'mon dinner is already done."
After a quite and very awkward dinner, the two couples began making their way into the living room for a chat. Asuna, clearly nervous, began. "I..Um want to apologize to the two of you for what happened. Asada, I'm so sorry about tripping you. I allowed my jealousy to get the better of me and though words may never fix what I did, I want you to know i'm getting help and hopefully bettering myself as person. and Kazuto, I...I only saw you Kirito, which you are, but I guess I just wanted a hero and that's what you were-well still are to some-anyways, I'd really like for us to be friends."
Kazuto and Asada looked at each other before turning to the girl. "Asuna we've forgiven you a long time ago, There's no need to apologize anymore. you're forgiven, though we aren't sure if the emotional damage has yet to completely fade. I still want us to work on everything."
Asuna nodded in agreement, and an awkward silence fell upon the room.
"Well then...Anyone heard any of the new games coming out this year?" Kazuto asked finally, thus prompting a discussion between himself and Yuuki.
After a long hour, Asada realized that the sun had fallen and the stars had made their way clearly to the prussian blue sky. "Oh my, It's getting kinda late."
Kazuto glanced over towards the window, "Yeah we should be heading out actually but thank you for having us."
Asuna smiled, "Thank you for everything. I really hope we can do this again someday."
"Next time we should invite the other's." Asada commented before turning to Kazuto, "Race you to bike!" Before she even finished her sentence, The raven haired beauty had already dashed outside.
"Cheater!" Kazuto exclaimed before rushing out behind her.
Yuuki stared at them before lovingly looking to her significant other, "Oh to be young and in love~"
As the couple took off, it finally occurred to Asuna that she had forgotten to tell them about Shinkawa Kyouji's escape. Immediately she grabbed her phone and began trying to call one of them, but neither picked up.
Once they had they made their way back to the house, They noticed how dark it was. Asada attempted turning on the lights, but nothing happened.
Kazuto decided to go look at their electric box around back and once he had opened it, everything fell black.
Asada still waiting in the dark for her boyfriend to return, began feeling uneasy. So without a second thought, she opened the door to find a dark figure standing there. The man forced a cloth onto her face before grabbing her roughly by her waist and dragging her out. The last thing she saw before she fell unconscious was the still body of Kazuto on the ground.
