"Awwwww it's so cute <3." You look up and see a orange haired girl looking at you "mew." you reply while sitting down and facing her , a black haired girl next to her giggles a little and says "I think it was thanking you." You nod your head a little , "can you understand us?" The orange haired girl says while crouching down to you , in reply you nod you head and meow a little , she stands up and turns to the other girl "come on we have to , I mean look at it." she gestures over to you as she speaks , the other girl just giggles again and says "why don't you ask it then." , the orange haired girl the kneels down to you again and asks "do you wanna come with us?" , you meow and brush up against her leg in response "see , it dose." She says to the other girl before picking you up , "it's about time we head back to the ship anyway Robin." She says to her , "we should get a carrier for it then, I'll wait outside with it okay." Robin tells her as the orange haired girl passes you to her. A few minutes later she comes out with a carrier and Robin puts you in it. "Meow?" you question, "we're just heading back to the ship now." She says. Just as you arrive at the ship Robin starts laughing and someone else who you can't see asks "what's so funny?" , "just that Nami has actually lived up to her name ; cat burglar." Robin says as they stop laughing "what?" the Unknown person says. "Luffy , we just have to wait for the others , the log pose is set and we're ready to set sail now." Nami says to him before heading to her room with Robin and putting the shopping away and taking you with them. When you they took you back up they had already set sail , from what you could see from the gaps there was a short person with a hat , a straw hatted boy and a long nose along with a guy who had really weird arms. "What's in the basket Nami?" Luffy asks "is it a blood thirst monster??" Someone else calls nervously, "yes, it's a furious dangerous monster." Robin says eerily then laughs, Nami sits down with the others and sets the basket on the ground and opens it then moves it when you climb out. "mew" you say while looking around , the weird arm guy has started crying and is mumbling something along the lines of "super cute." the long nose looks relived, the straw hatted guy is looking at you curiously, the short guy with the hat seems really happy , Robin is smiling and so is Nami. "She says hi." the short hatted one says , "chopper , dose she have a name?" Nami asks him , you meow "she says its y/n." he replies "well then y/n , welcome to the crew." The straw hatted boy says while grinning. "I'm Luffy , that's Nami , Robin , Chopper , Ussop and franky , there's also Zoro , brook and Sanji." He says while pointing them out you nod in response. You look over and see a green haired man "mew?" You look over to chopper who laughs and says "don't worry he's not dead." "Nami-swannnn Robin-chwan ....
Kitten-chan?" The blonde trails off while staring at you  "why is there a cat?" He asks while pointing at you "that's our new nakama!" Luffy chimes in, "Yohohoho, hello kitten-chan." A Afro skeleton says , you jump back in surprise and puff up your fur. "Brook , you scared her!" Nami says as she hits him - after that they went back to their normal habits , you where playing hide and seek with chopper, Luffy and Ussop and you were winning. At dinner time you had a small fish that they caught earlier and you slept in a spare hammock in the girls room.
~time skip~
It had been a few weeks since you joined the mugiwaras, you normally stayed with chopper when you went on land , he was your best friend since he understands you , the island you had visited a few days before had a visiting celestial dragon, you started to get really furious when you saw them , Luffy held you back though he got really scratched up - you did apologies but thankfully he didn't ask why you got so angry.
After dinner you where dared to climb up the mast when playing truth or dare with Luffy , Ussop and chopper , But you got stuck and couldn't climb down , while they all where thinking of ways to get you down , Luffy shot up to the mast but ended up accidentally sending you flying over the railing and into the sea , he immediately jumped in after you , Zoro and Sanji soon followed. When they got you on board everyone was shocked because instead of the kitten and their captain there was a girl and Luffy. They took you to the infermntry, Nami went to get you some clothes to replace the ragged shirt and shorts you where wearing. When you woke up a few seconds after Luffy , your words where "LUFFY YOU BAKA!" you where just as surprised as the others to hear your voice. chopper handed you the clothes and you got up and walked into the bathroom to change as the others waited outside for you. Luffy apologised when you came out "If you're a devil fruit user why didn't you turn into a human?" Zoro asks as you sit down to join them "I don't know how to use it." You admitted "you where forced to eat the devil fruit weren't you." Luffy states becoming serious before you got to reply he continues "those bastard dragons made you , didn't they." He starts to get angry yet remain calm , clenching his fists he says "those sick bastards made you eat the devil fruit for their own entertainment after you where treated like dirt and forcefully sold off to them as a kid." At this point chopper was holding him back in a different form , you sit there holding back tears with your hands balled into fists on the grass drawing blood because of your permanent cat like claws "uh huh....." You manage to him while nodding you head a bit. The others look on in confusion at the scene unfolding in front of them ; Robin was holding back the others who got angry - namely Sanji. They looked at you in shock as they saw the blood stained grass where you had you hands started to catch fire , when you realised you stood up and found a empty spot looking out at the sea so you could cool down (literally) , when chopper finally let go of Luffy he went and sat on the sunnys head to calm down.
~time skip~
"How did you know?" You ask the approaching Luffy without looking behind you , he walks up to you and answers "I saw the mark when in the water , why didn't you say anything?" "I thought it was irrelevant since I don't know how to change back." You reply while watching the sunset "seems fair." He comments "you should get those cuts treated." He tells you "yeah , sorry about setting the grass on fire...." You say quietly "it'll grow back , don't worry about it." he mutters snapping out of his serious state.
"Good night captain, I'll get them treated tomorrow when choppers awake there not that bad anyway." You tell him before walking away and into the girls quarters being careful not to wake them.

~ time skip ~ 1 day later~
Nobody has asked you what happened, everything went back to normal , Luffy was on the night watch again. About 3am you went to bed at , you stayed up to keep Luffy company for a while but didn't want him to question you about your past so you went to bed.
You woke up a little while after , you silently climbed out of bed and changed into (f/s/c) top and (f/s/c) shorts (change the outfit if you want.) you walked outta the room being extra careful not to wake up Nami or Robin. You walk up to sunnys head and lean on the railing at the side of it, you let out a sigh and drop your head into your hands (I hope this makes sense xD.) completely forgetting your rubber band of a captain sitting there [on the head].
You hear a faint 'are you okay? Is something wrong?' you look around to find the owner of the unknown yet strangely familiar voice then it clicked , you rest your hand oh the side of the sunnys head "it's fine sunny , it was just a bad dream. No need to worry I'm fine." You say softly to her not expecting a reply. You went back to gazing out to sea , "oi , y/n , who're you talking to?" Luffy asks as he hops down and stands by your side "s-sunny." You answer without realising , 'oh great now he's gunna think I'm crazy....' You thought as you hoped he hadn't heard you. He smiles then asks "why are you up?" "J--just a dream..." You murmur almost silently "Well since it woke you up tell me about it!" He grins as he sits down on the railing now facing you "Y--you don't wanna hear about it...." you go to walk away and he grabs your wrist "Captains orders tell me." He says , you sigh knowing your stubborn captain won't let you go.... "Hey Luffy , wanna get some meat?" You smile gently. [No PERVY MINDS PEOPLE * hits you on nose*] he frowns and says "nope , not until you tell me." Your smile turns into a frown immediately you sigh and start holding back tears as the memory of it comes back "L--Luffy , you know I hate feeling useless a-and hate it when others get hurt..." A tear escapes your eye and you stare at your feet "w--well w-when I was 8 I was taken to g-Goa kingdom , b-by then I'd given up all hopes of escape...." You pause and a whimper escaped your lips and more tears start to fall. "a boy about my age was killed by them...... A--And I couldn't do anything to help him...." "A-and I was forced to serve them drinks as they laughed about his death... That night.... You could still see debris of his ship--." You start crying unable to continue and then fall down onto your knees covering your face with your hands. Luffy started panicking for a bit then you felt someone hug you , only hugging tighter when you tried to escape their grasp. Soon after you stood up you felt another pair of arms wrap around you.... And another and another, soon enough the whole crew was. Even the so called heartless marimo.
