You asked him.

"Ohsuamsuekwoskhwia!!"

You looked at him is confusion at his rushed words.

He placed a hand over his chest-

"Oh. Y/n, you slightly scared me - I didn't notice you." He said.

You giggled slightly.

"Slightly? You looked like you just saw a ghost."
You said.

"You seem to be in a good mood today, is someone excited for Santa visiting?"
He joked.

You shot a death glare at him when he ruffled your hair - that's why you wanted to be taller.

"Nope! Its finally a bearable temperature around this place! I love winter."

You beamed.

He suddenly frowned.

"Anyway, I don't even know who Santa is." You added.

"HOW?!?!!" He suddenly asked.

"How what?" You replied, tilting your head.

"How aren't you frozen?! And how don't you know who Santa clause is?!"

He asked like an immature five year old.

"Well, I mean- the memory loss. And I'm pretty sure grew up on an even colder island." You said.

"Oh....Sorry, I forgot..." he mumbled.

"Ehh. It's fine. I don't believe in fairy tales anyway." You answered.

"Y/n, I really really hate you working here."
Someone said as they approached you.

"Oh?" You answered.

"It's nothing against you, it's that I hate having to be the messenger who's possibly sending you to your doom."
They added.

"What do you want?" You asked.

"Dragon-sama is sending you on a mission in a week." They warned before leaving.

Sabo sighed.

*Timeskip because I'm a terrible writer*

"What the fuck was that?!"
You mentally screamed when you heard a loud thud.

So, naturally you went to investigate.

Your eyes saw an unfamiliar figure, and with your reflexes -

The fist thing you did was throw a dagger, a warning shot.

"WHAT THE - Y/N?!"
They shouted.

"Sabo?"
You recognised the voice.

"Why'd you break in?"
You asked, your eyes now adjusted enough to see him.

"And why are you wearing that weird hat and beard?"

"I---I--" he stuttered.

"You know what, Sabo- just go back to your room. I'm too tired for this right now."

You said, as you pushed him out of the door.

*Knock* *Knock*

You knocked on Sabo's door.

"Y-Y/n?" He yawned.

"Why're you here?"

"I saw a spider in my room." You muttered.

He started laughing.

"You're telling me. Y/n, a trained spy and assassin - Daughter of Ace. Is scared of spiders?" He managed to say.

"Daughter of Ace?" You asked him.

"Oh.... you're not his daughter.....You just really remind me of him....."
he said with a sad sigh.

"Oh...You mean Portagas? He's only like ten years older than me....he would be....."
you mumbled.

"Anyway, could you kill the spider for me? I managed to trap it under a glass."
You told him.

*small timeskip*

"Y/n. Y/N! Wake up! It's Christmas!!"

You woke up to Sabo shaking you.

"Okay. Okay, calm down."

"What the? How the hell did these gifts get here?" You asked.

"I honestly don't know..." Sabo said.

"Maybe it was from your Sabo-ta."
Koala said as she walked by you both.

You let out a sigh.

"Merry Christmas Sabo-kun." You said.

"Merry Christmas y/n."
He said as he ruffled your hair - much to your annoyance.
