I've been waiting for so long. This was the place I know we have been destined to meet again. I brought my hand up to my head, fixing my black fringe. The sunlight seeped through the leaves above, and as I looked up, it shone into my blue eyes. Almost time now. He should be coming. I look around the place. It was empty. Obviously, no one will be here this early. Then why will he? Who is he? Why was he chosen to reincarnate?
I looked around once more. I noticed a figure at the far end of the walking path. Though I couldn't see the face, something in me clicked. The unsure posture with the shy movement of hand as he continuously fixed his brown fringe, very similar to mine. I stood up from the bench. It...It was him. It was my Jungkook. He is back.
I was his Jimin, but that was before our death. Now the two of us finally met, again. I knew it, but did he?
The figure got closer, and I notice that he is still taller than me. I look at his warm eyes and adorable smile as it meets mine. Not changed that, have you?
Slowly, memories of my past life seeped in. The laughs; the tears; the music. Every memory revolving around my beautiful Jungkook, who still is beautiful, just not Jungkook anymore. Or maybe he is.
The similar movement of hands, the same cute glances. I can almost picture him in front of me.
"Hello! May I sit with you?" I nodded silently as I heard his voice, coated with a British accent. Still staring at the beautiful face that has now replaced Jungkook's.
"My name is Dan!" He chirped with the same adorable smile. Dan... Nice name to replace Jungkook in my heart.
"I'm Phil!" he nodded, silent for a while.
"Nice name," he said suddenly, obviously trying to start a conversation.
"Yours too," I replied with a grin. I knew immediately, this was my new love. My new Jungkook. I am ready for the same beautiful memories that were lost in the past life.
