Sweat trickled down HER face. SHE shot another straight bullet into the plastic human.
SHE kept on shooting again and again.
Until it fell. There was a knock on HER door. Just one followed by three.
A rhythm she knew all too well.
SHE pulled off her shoes silently, loading new bullets into her gun. Another knock echoed.
SHE tiptoed to the door. "Who's there?" SHE asked. Not a word was responded.
Whoever it was rattled with the door knob. Then stopped after a while.
SHE leant her ear against the door, realizing some sort of machinery whirring against it.
SHE then knew that this was no ordinary visitor. SHE ran to the back of the house, taking HER packed bag along.
HER only option was the fence. Soon enough, SHE heard an explosion go off in her house.
There was no time.
SHE tossed her bag first before SHE began climbing. Almost there. She thought.
Shots were fired. They had spotted HER. Enough to shoot at HER.
"Shit." SHE hissed.
SHE escaped, running off into the night with a bag of more weapons than clothing.
There was only one place SHE could go to. One person SHE could trust.
