SHE drove fast and far with tears rolling down HER cheeks. SHE lost both of HER parents to HER sister. If only, SHE could make her pay.

But HER sister was dead and SHE was pleased.

HE was going to bleed to death because of HER. SHE sobbed harder at the thought of losing the last one.

SHE had two options. It was either to take HIM to the hospital, and go to jail because SHE'S a wanted murder suspect.

Or.

Take the risk of either succeeding or failing to save HIS life.

"You're alive?" HIS voice echoed through the noise of HER cry.

"I'm taking you to the hospital, okay? You're going to get better." SHE struggled to fake a smile.

"..stop the car." HE breathed out.

SHE only drove faster. "I'm saving your life."

"Too much motion will kill me, you have to stop now!" HE yelled. SHE pulled the car to a harsh stop.

HER head banged against the dashboard causing HER head to ache just as bad as HER heart.

HE stumbled out of the car, hand over HIS bleeding shoulder. After pulling out a set of pliers and disinfectant from the boot, HE dragged HER out onto the bridge.

They both sat on the floor. Exhausted. Damaged. Afraid for the first time in forever.

HE handed HER the pliers, "You have four seconds to pull the damn knife out." SHE vigorously shook her head as a no.

"If I do, I might slice a vein. Killing you in an instant." SHE sighed.

HE smiled in the midst of it all. "But you won't. Saving me in an instant."

SHE finally agreed to it, knowing that if SHE succeeded, SHE didn't have much time. HE was on the third second.

"Four. Go!" SHE pulled it out with force. But SHE didn't care.

Because HE was still alive.

HE took off HIS shirt, soaking it with disinfectant and pressing it into HIS wounded shoulder. "You saved me." HE laughed.

SHE nodded with a blank expression. "What's wrong?" HE asked.

"I need to go to Europe again, to train for the next war." SHE whispered.

"Oh," HE sighed, "Then I guess I have to wait for you to get shot again."

SHE laughed, letting out a couple of snorts. HE smiles as he brushed the strands of HER hair out of HER face. "I'll miss you like I always do."

SHE gave HIM a small kiss. A kiss with a promise of return.

the end.
