"Okay. I texted him back yes, and he said to meet him at 4:00, by the Frozen Yogurt store in town," I told Frost anxiously, hoping that the date wouldn't be one of Ash's dirty pranks again.

"Oh, classic!" Frost chirped. "Now, what should you wear?" She yanked open my closet, only to find one dress and one skirt.

"Are you kidding me?" Frost half-yelled. "Are you disguising all your dresses in your many jeans, or do you seriously have only one dress?"

I held up one finger in half-amusement.

"This is a disgrace!" She muttered to herself. "Luckily, for you, first dates like this are usually casual clothes. Or so in my opinion." Frost stuck her heard farther in my closet, searching for a pair of less worn out skinny jeans.

"How do you even know so much about dates anyway?" I questioned.

Frost stopped her digging and turned around slowly. "Don't question a girl who has been dating the school's 'Golden Boy' for four years." She turned back around and kept digging through the closet.

"Um... Okay then, I guess I won't ask." I replied back, a little shocked at her change in attitude.

"Aha!" Frost suddenly cried, yanking out a pair of never-worn jeans. She chucked the jeans at me and they landed on my head.

"Really," I chuckled. Did it HAVE to be the head?"

Frost just ignored me and ran over to my dresser, yanking it open and searching for the right shirt. She finally found one she liked, and she pulled it out from the very bottom of the drawer. It was a pink shirt cold shoulder shirt with a big white flower on the front.

"Perfect!" Frost cried, and she was about to throw it at me, but I put my hand out to stop her.

"No," I said, staring at the shirt that my aunt had got me for Christmas. "I don't like pink. How about a blue shirt?"

"But your jeans are already blue!" Frost whined. "How about a white shirt?"

"Not that either," I refused. "What if I spill some food or something on it?

"JUST. PUT. ON. THE. PINK. ONE." Frost raged.

"No!" I replied.

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes! And remember, don't questioned the girl who's been dating-"

"The school's 'Golden Boy' for four years. I know, I know," I interrupted.
"But I am not wearing a pink shirt!"

Frost sighed, shoved the shirt back in the drawer, went over to her jacket to grab her phone out of the pocket, and turned back around and plopped onto the bed. She then started texting someone.

"Who ya texting?" I asked curiously.

"Fire," she replied simply.

"Your boyfriend?" I asked again.

Frost only nodded her head. Then she turned and looked at me. "I hope you don't mind him coming over," she said, then returned to her texting.

"What?" I almost yelled. Then I started scrambling around the room, trying to neaten it up.

A couple minutes later, we heard a truck drive into the driveway. Frost and I both jogged down the stairs to meet Fire at the front door. Before he could even knock, Frost yanked open the door, and we saw a surprised Fire standing at the door with his fist raised in the air, ready to knock. I was trying to hold back a laugh at his astonished face, but I accidentally snorted. Frost elbowed me and hugged Fire.

A few minutes later, we were all up in Sky's room, arguing about the pink shirt. I brought Fire over to see if he could convince Sky to wear the shirt, but so far she wasn't giving in. Fire finally got bored of two girls arguing over a shirt, so he went back out to his car and grabbed a bag of Gold Fish he keeps there. He knows that whenever he's around me, I like to snack to stay concentrated. So technically, I stress snack. Man, do I need to break that habit.

"Here's a deal. I'm gonna be late, so why don't I put on my green shirt?" Sky questioned.

I quickly glanced at her, then jumped up and ran over to her dresser. I yanked open the drawer, and started searching for the green shirt. I found a pretty turquoise green one instead, so I picked that one.

"Fine, I'll wear that. But can you drive me there? Sky asked, probably remembering that Fire had his own truck.

"Sure, no problem," Fire responded, almost done his Gold Fish.

I told Sky to meet us downstairs, then I grabbed my phone and coat and dashed back down the stairs.

I then remembered that Fire's trick is one of those trucks without a back seat, just three seats in the front. We would all have to squish in, because I don't have a car either. I walked to Sky's house. I don't even have to drive to her house anyway, 'cause we're neighbors! But, back to the truck problem. I decided to sit in the middle, because I am the smallest.

"So," Fire said, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Do you think Ash is actually pranking Sky?" He asked.

"Well if he does, I'll be sure to punch him," I half-muttered.

"Wow, you're a lot more violent then you were in 9th grade," Fire joked.

Finally, Sky came outside. "I'm ready!" Sky said, her voice cracking, either out of excitement or nervousness.

We all hopped into the truck, and Fire started driving us towards the center of the town, where the Frozen Yogurt store is.
