Back at the Castle

Cadence leaned back on her crystal throne and made an audible groan. "And that's why your highness we need that 20,000 bits to fund our new swimming pool, it's absolutely vital to the Empire's economy as it will fund jobs and give extra money to us." SnootyGem said. Everyday Cadence held her own royal court , but even though it was important to the Empire, it was excruciatingly booring.
"Thank you Mr Gem, I will consider that, but do we really-" A guard came in , who Cadence recognised as I Blue Skys .
"Your highness may we continue?" SnootyGem asked.
"Wait Mr Gem, let this guardspony say what he needs to say."Cadence said.
"Thank you , your highness, your daughter is here along with somepony special," Blue Skyes informed.
"Ohhh! I wonder who it can be, send them in!" Cadence smiled.
The door magically opened by a golden aura, who Cadence recognised as her daughter's. Flurry Heart entered and then followed by a very familiar unicorn stallion.
"Hey Cady!" Shining Armour said. Cadence leaned out of her throne and almost fly-ran to her husband, enveloping him in s massive hug with her wing wrapped around him." I missed you so much! Are you okay? I saw your bandage on your hoof, what happened? Did you get hurt worse? Oh no! I haven't been there to support you, I haven't even wrote! You must hate me-"Cadence worried until her lover cut her off.
"Shhh everything's fine Cady, don't worry" Shining Armour reassured her . Whispering sweet nothings into her ear f or a moment to reassure his wife he was fine.
"Okay honey let's catch up in our room, SnootyGem, court is cancelled today feel free to see me tomorrow." Cadence said to SnootyGem. Snooty made his way out of the castle.
"Flurry , me and Daddy have some SERIOUS catching up to do, so can you leave us alone please, we'll be in our private chambers if you need us." Cadence told Flurry Heart.
When the couple reached their bedroom door, a huge oak painted white with the prince and princess's cutie marks on it, Cadence said "Now, tell me EVERYTHING." Shining smiled *that will take a long time* he thought .
"If Cady wants that, Shiny will provide!"
