Maya's POV

Two weeks later......

It's been a busy week and I have hardly seen Josh or Riley
Riley has been hanging around with Brian or working at a project with Dylan and I've been getting a load of art homework and study
Ugh ! Why is university so hard!!
I walk into art smiling As I know I'll get to see Josh

I'm early to class so I sit down and take out a book, The history of classical art

I get stuck into it quickly and I zone every thing out

"Hey gorgeous " I hear behind me. I didn't even notice him sitting down . This is what reading does to me!! I slam the book closed
"Josh!!!!" I say loudly,smiling
"Maya" Josh said back mimicking my excitement which made us both laugh
" Sorry about the excitement it's just that we haven't seen each other for a long time and art class is the one time we do " I say blushing

"I agree we haven't had anytime to hang out so I was thinking this weekend would you like you like to go out for dinner" he asked

"I'd like that very much " I reply with a smile

"Great I'll pick my lady up at seven  then " he says kissing me on the cheek

"Sounds like a plan " I say grinning

The professor walked in and the lesson began but all I could think of was my date with Josh tonight

Riley's POV

***knock knock ***
That must be Josh coming to pick up Maya
I opened it "Hey Josh come in . Maya's still getting dressed in the bathroom "
"Thank you niece " he said
Josh was wearing a fancy suit with a black bow. This place their going must be quite fancy !

As Maya's best best friend I decide to talk to Josh one on one since Maya is still getting ready just so I know he's the right guy for her. Even though he is my uncle and I know he wouldn't do such a thing but I have to make sure he knows how special she is

"Your shaking Josh " I smirk

"Am I ?" He says trying to stop

"You really like Maya don't you ?" I say softly

"With all my hart" he says sincerely

"Good because if you hurt her I will personally hunt you down and make you life miserable until the day you die which is not going to be fun considering we are related and I see you a lot!" I threaten

Josh put his hand on his heart "I Josh Matthews promise not to harm or hurt Maya hart because I love her and if I do suffer the wrath  of Riley Matthews .

"Okay and if you are going to "do it" use protection "I advised

"RILEY" Josh cringes " I know!!! Your starting to sound like your dad!!"

We both laugh "Good we got that cleared up " i said

Just then Maya walked out of the bathroom in a white lace dress (knee length) , she had her hair in a braided up do while hairs framed her face  perfectly .

"Peaches your stunning " I cry

"Thanks honey " Maya replies twirling

"Wow Maya not even gorgeous can describe how beautiful  you are tonight" Josh complimented
He couldn't keep is eyes off her

"Your looking pretty handsome yourself " Maya said back

"Gah you lovebirds are killing me with your cuteness .Go enjoy your date " I say pushing them out the door and shutting it in there faces
