Peter Parker X Reader - Birthday Banquet

You and Peter had been best friends ever since you had see him around Avengers tower. You were about the same age as him and staying with your Uncle Tony as he was teaching you some things about science and electronics. You had always had a passion for these subjects and who better to teach you than the man himself.

On your days off which were whenever you wanted one, (yes there were definitely perks of Tony being your Uncle) you and Peter hung out and watched movies or went out. Don't get me wrong, you thought that living with the Avengers were pretty cool and it really was but sometimes it was nice to relax with someone your age for a change.

Today was Peters birthday and you had the best idea to make it special for him. He was coming to visit you around dinner time which gave you just enough time to put your plan into action. Now all you needed was a lift to get what you needed. It was time to ask your uncle another favour.

"Hey Uncle Tony."you said walking into the lab.

"Hey, Y/N! What are you doing here? I thought that you would be with your spidey boyfriend since its his birthday today. Tell me when he comes around would you, me and the team have got him some presents." he replied.

"He's not my boyfriend! And about that I'm planning something for him, he's coming around at lunchtime but I'm going to need a ride to pick something up."

"I've got you. Lets go." Tony said and left what he was doing.

You had gotten what you needed and set up the lounge in preparation for when he came. You had also rounded up all of the avengers to join in celebrating his birthday knowing that he'd appreciate it. Even if he still gets a bit starstruck around them.

You were stood by the door waiting for him to arrive. The rest of them was waiting in the lounge but you wanted to greet him at the door. You saw him coming and waved and went to meet him.

"Happy Birthday!!" you said and wrapped your arms around him.

"Thank you Y/N." He said hugging you back with a big smile on his face.

"Come on lets go upstairs I've got a surprise for you." You led him towards the lounge and told him to cover his eyes.

You were both stood in the doorway.

"Open your eyes." Peter opened his eyes as all the them shouted Happy Birthday! His smile was enormous as he looked around. Everyone was there and there were banners up and presents and on the table was the best thing he had ever seen.

"Is that all McDonald's and KFC!" Peter excitedly exclaimed looking at you.

"Yes, all your favourites." you beamed back at him.

"But there's so much food!" All the team laughed at his reaction and you all went to sit down and eat.

After you had eaten everyone gave Peter their presents to him but you waited to give him yours last.

You handed it him with a smile. "Happy Birthday Peter."

He opened your present and his smile got even wider if that was possible. You had made him a collage of you and him and the places you had been together and all the good times you had both had. There were pictures from the first time you met to last week when you and the team all went out for something to eat.

"Thank you Y/N. This is so thoughtful I don't deserve a friend like you." he hugged you again.

"OK, Spidey it may be your birthday but put Y/N down." Tony joked and you and Peter went bright red.

The rest of the day went swimmingly and Peter had a great time hanging out with anyone but especially you. It was getting late and everyone had retired to their rooms and it was just you and Peter left in the room.

"Thankyou Y/N, for a really great day." Peter said.

"It's alright its nothing more than you deserve." you replied smiling up at him.

"Its getting late I should get going, Aunt May will be worrying."

"Ok." you both got up from the sofa and moved towards the door.

You hugged him again and worked up the courage to ask him something you had been wanting to for a long time now.

"Hey, Peter, I know its your birthday and all but I was wondering if you'd do something for me." you said nervously.

"Yeah of course y/n, I would do anything for you.

"Will you go on a date with me?" you held your breath waiting for a reply. Peter looked at you lovingly and lent down and kissed you on the cheek,

"I thought you would never ask. You really have just made my birthday truly special. Pick you up tomorrow at 3pm" you blushed as he went turning back to wave at you. You waved then started to your room smiling like an idiot.

"I called it!" you heard your Uncle Tony say. He was stood outside of your room with a big grin on his face.

"Oh shut up." you said jokingly then went to hug him. "Goodnight."

"Night, but I have a certain person I need to go threaten about hurting you before I go to bed. Call me overprotective." Tony said then set off down the hall.

You rolled your eyes. You just hoped that he didn't scare Peter off, but you were sure that he could hold his own.
