Samantha POV
I was running as fast as I could but there was no escaping this. He was chasing me at full speed gaining up on me. I was going to die.😵
                    *2 hours before*
I finally got away!?! I'm so happy to finally be free. My dad maybe mad but I don't care... I stopped caring when my mom 'left'. I know I know that's bad,but my dad practically took my freedom. Plus,he took all of his anger out on me and made me feel like it was all of my fault but not anymore. I'm not going to feel like everything is all my fault and mope around anymore because I know that everything is NOT my fault. Everyday that I lived with my dad he would yell at for absolutely no reason at all. When I was about 12 years old dad yelled at me for everything and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING. Once my dad came home late from 'work' and yelled at me for breathing...FREAKING BREATHING... that was the day I officially died inside...😢 I decided to keep walking deeper and deeper...
                *During the incident*
It has been about 2 hours of walking and I stop to rest and get some water and eat. About 10 minutes into resting I here a twig snap and I do the dumbest thing ever...and played dead.WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF?!? It's to late now so I might as well continue acting. I heard them approach me hesitantly and then they stopped.After about ten minutes of nothing I thought they left and right when I'm about to stop acting I hear a man saying "oh no." It was a whisper and it sounded like the person just realized something. I felt a little weird. Like I felt the need to jump into the mans arms and never let go. That is when out of no where I felt someone pick me up.NO. I did not run away to get kidnapped. So I did what any smart person would and jump out of the persons arms and run."Hey wait." The person said in a playful tone.Is he joking with me? No I need to stay focused so I can survive.
                   *Present time*
There was no way that I was getting away. I felt a hand go around my waist and hold on to me firmly. I was spun around to see a very curious looking boy, attractive may I add. What I'm a single seventeen year old what do you expect!? As I was about to talk I suddenly felt the need to hug him tightly."what is this feeling?" I asked myself quietly "I don't know is it causing you to want to hug me and never let go." He said jokingly and I just looked at surprised. Then he looked at me and said"I was right wasn't I?" He asked. I just nodded."what does this mean?" I asked awkwardly because of the position I was in but he was looking at my boobs. "Hey buddy my eyes are up here!" I said. He looked at me and stared into my eyes I felt like he was reading my mind but all I could do was think about all of the times that I've been hurt and look away." Well." I said. He just looked at me and said"well what." "You didn't answer my question."I stated. " Oh that well it means your my mate." " What? What is a 'mate'." I asked, confused. "I'll tell you later. I'm so happy that I found you." "Why would you care about me?" "Why wouldn't I. Don't you have people that care about you... That love you like I do?" "No...I mean I did once upon a time but not now😢." I said, looking away. He looked worried and sad,but then I realized something."wait did you say love?😕" "what?....oh...ummmmm......" "Ummm? Look just be straight forward did you say that you loved me or not?" "Yes... I love you. Do you?you know...love...me?"He asked, hopefully. "I don't know if I can." "Can what?"he said, looking worried." Hey I never caught your name." I said, changing the subject." "liam. Now answer." He demanded. "My name's Samantha or Sam for short. You have a really nice name you know?😶." I said, still not looking at him."Sam." He said, firmly looking serious and worried. "I don't know if I can ever love again.😞" I said, sadly finally looking at him. I felt myself tear up when I said this so I looked back down. I felt something wet hit my hand and immediately went to sit down on a log and set my head in my hands. Why am I crying? My heart hurts so much. "Hey are you OK?" He said slowly making his way to me. "Um... Yeah sorry." "why are you crying." "I don't know." I said,trying to convince him that I'm ok. I think I'm dying inside,I thought. Suddenly liam hugged me and growled," TELL ME.EVERYTHING." "oops... Did I say that out loud😔?" "Yes.Now.Start.TALKING." "OKAY OKAY! But your gonna have to get comfortable this is gonna take a long time...like A LONG TI-." "OKAY!I get it. Now...talk away." " Okay... Here goes nothing."
2 hours later
Samantha's POV
He looked at me speechless. "Woah...um...that was just...Woah..." He said. "Yep that's my life story. SURPRISE!" I said jokingly. He chuckled, but turned serious again. "I'm really so-." "Please... Don't. The last thing that I need is your pity." "So-wait no...I'm apologizing  for saying sorry?😕" I laughed and he stared at me." What?" I asked suddenly curious." Nothing. Just... Your laugh..." I looked at him confused." What about my laugh." I questioned, feeling self conscious. "It's just... never mind." "No what was it? I'm curious now." He looked at me for a second and then a said, "okay I will... But only if you give me what I want." And with that he smiled. I looked at him and thought strange for a man I barely know I feel as if I can trust him. I think he can show me how love again...😍😏😻💃💕💓💖. "Okay... I will... Now what about my laugh and also what could you possibly want from me." "You'll find out soon enough.... By the way... The only thing that is wrong with your laugh is..." he started to say but cut himself off. "I'm listening😵. "It's too beautiful😉. I looked at him and said." You got three seconds😈." He looked at me curious." Wait... Why do I have three seconds?" Liam asked now confused. I said the one word to make him understand."RUN."
