I stood there in shock, there sat people, survivors, with suit cases, at a-a bus stop?.

"Ash come over look!" I said pointing down, a shocked expression still roaming my face.

Ash got up and hobbled over to the window.
She stood there, her jaw almost touching the ground.

"Survivors?" She said, her eyes glaring at the people huddled at the stop.

"Get your stuff together, we're going down there to check out what's going on" I grabbed my weapons and the rest of my stuff, Ash took a duffel bag that was in a cupboard and proceeded to fill it.

" make sure you grab that gun" I shout over to Ash who's still filling her bag nonstop.

" I will" she says grabbing the gun and putting it in the waistband of her jeans.

We then fled to the balcony and climbing back onto the roof, trailing our bags behind us.

I headed straight over to where the ladders were, I started climbing down with one arm, the other latched onto the metal bat.

I reached the bottom and then Ash followed.

"Run, let's go" I shout over to Ash, zombies followed quickly behind us.

A small mini bus that could fit about twelve people in it appeared, I wonder where it's going...

"All are welcome to join, come on hurray before they follow" I faintly heard the bus driver say.

We eventually reached the bus.

The doors swung closed as we started banging on the doors, the driver must have though we where zombies.

He eventually opened it and let us in.

A putrid smell hit me as soon as I walked in, the smell of lack of deodorant, these people must have been walking for days without supplies.

There was no room to sit so we stood holding the bars on the roof.

Me and Ash stood in silence for most of the journey.

" excuse me miss, you can take a seat next to me to save you standing" a male voice said coming from the side of Ash.

"Oh ok, thank you" Ash said blushing a light shade of pink.

"Where are we going? I ask the male sitting next to Ash.

"Well hopefully out of harms way, that's all we know so far... Other than that I'm not sure Miss" he said looking back out of the window.

"Charlie" I say "And this is Ash"

"Well Nice To Meet You I'm Blake" He said grinning at the both of us.

He seemed much older than us, not sure though, a little stubble and dark hair and piercing blue eyes, that starred back at me and continued to follow my movements, he was looking at me? God another one if "these" guys...

Ash took a seat and rubbed her leg.

"My ankle is still a little sore" Ash said whimpering like a child.

"I'm sure you'll be ok" I replied, half smiling.

We all were silent for pretty much most of the journey, it felt like forever, and these people were getting pretty anxious, maybe they were meeting people or maybe their people are 'gone' just like the rest of us... Who knows... And who even cares anymore, the worlds went to shit and there's nothing we can do about it...

The bus finally stopped.

"Welcome to hell", the bus driver said opening the drivers door and leaving us in the bus.

The bus doors swung open with a squeak.

This bus was really old and had a horrible smell to it, but we bared with it until we left.

The cold chill in the air gave me shivers down my spine, the smell of putrid rotting bodies still lingered in the air.

"What do we do now?" Ash said looking around her.

We were in the middle of nowhere, trees surrounded the small road, a road that looked like it never ended one way and the other way leading us right back into the city... We had no clue on why we were here.

"Excuse me sir, a small voice from the side of Blake came from, we all looked round.

"Excuse me sir, where actually are we?" A little girl with long golden hair said standing forward staring back at the driver.

"I took you out of most of harms way, the city, that place was full of all those zombie type things, you all could have died if it wasn't for me, anyway let's get a camp fire going and let's make something in the trees to stay in for tonight, yeah? What do you all say?" The fever said looking at the crowed he brought here.

A woman started crying, she must of thought she was going to be safe... Her husband started shouting abuse at the bus driver.

"WE THOUGHT WE WERE GOING TO A SAFE CAMP AND YOU BROUGHT US HERE!? YOU SIR ARE ONE STUPID MAN!"
the husband shouted back at the driver grabbing his bags and with his wife at two kids, walking of back into the path of the city.

The driver had a sinister smile on his face when they turned their backs, this guy is what you call insane.

" the-they don't know what there doing! Stupid man, he's walking into hell, he's practically killing himself and his family" the driver said laughing like someone that should be in an insane asylum.

" so... Anyone else have a problem? Because you can leave for hell as well today if you'd like" he said walking away.

"Shit... What do we do now?" Blake said staring at us, with a concerned look on his face.

"Let's just build this 'tree house' and see how that goes..." I said quietly to Blake and Ash.

They nodded.

"Here each of you take one of these, if one of those things come near you, kill it!" He said handing us both a small hand knife.

"Woah thanks" me and Ash smiled back.

We spent the afternoon collecting wood and sticks to use to build.

"So... You like Blake then?" Ash said winking.

"No... He's just... He's literally a stranger, that's joined us, soon he'll turn into Bear Grylls and leave... Don't get too attached..." I said looking back at Ash's disappointed reaction.

"Oh well..." Ash said continuing into the woods.

We eventually found a good place to build, we made one big house, with three small platforms to sleep on... Me and Ash got changed into some comfortable clothes and we sat in the 'house' with Blake.

It was kinda nice... I guess...
