Chapter 14

6 years later. Zaylee's pov.

rolled my eyes as Mike continued to call off the rules. "Okay I get it dick stick. Can you unchain me now?" I said "Since when did I say you could talk?" he said "I'm a fucking human. You do not own me. I can talk whenever the hell I want" I said and he slapped me "You've been living with me for six years and you still don't know the rules" he said amused. "I don't exactly know what you consider living but I'm pretty sure chained to a wall is not living. " I said "Your still alive" he said "Shocking right?" I said "Your just like your dad. I hate it" he said "So when do me and Alice get to leave?" I asked "As soon as she gets you cleaned up " he said and left. Alice unchained me and helped me change into some clean clothes and shoes. She put bandages on the cuts that the cuffs made on my arms. She put makeup on me and fixed my hair to make me look 'presentable' for the public. We then left the room and out to the car. "You remember the plan, right?" I asked "Yep. I talked Mike into letting us 'spend the night at a hotel' so we can make it to California." she said "That's great, did you talk Zavier into meeting you at the restaurant?" I asked "Yeah, it took a lot of convinsing though. For both your dads and him. " she said. "OK. What are we waiting for? Let's go" I said and she began driving away.

*skipping drive*

We actually did end up staying at a hotel because it got really late. She messaged alx and told him to meet her the next day. We fell asleep.

The next morning she did my makeup and hair and put some perfume on me and new set of clothes.
We began driving to the restraint that we are meeting alx at.
Once we got there the waitress took us to the table he was at. He littrally looks like a young version of Jayy! "Are you zavier?" Alice asked "Yeah, your Alice right?" he asked and she nodded "I hope you don't mind, I brought my friend Mia with me" she said and I waved (Mia is Zays middle name) "Hi" he said to me. I just wanted to scream in his face that I'm his sister but we arnt telling him until we talk him into letting us come over. We ordered our food and ate. Alice asked to come over to meet his parents because she thought things between them would work. By the way, she's twenty two but she's pretinding to be 17 for this to work. After we paid we left and got into his car to the house.
Once we got there he walked in holding the door. Jayy and dahvie were setting on the couch. "Dads, this is Alice. She wanted to meet you" he said shyly "Hello Alice, I'm Jayy and this is my husband dahvie" Jayy said "Hello Mr and Mr VonVanity. This is my friend Mia, I hope you don't mind me bringing her " Alice said "No not at all. It's nice to meet you" Jayy said. Dahvie looked at me confused "Have we meet before? You look so familiar" he said "I don't think so. I'm from Washington" I said. He nodded his head and shook the look of his face. "I can give you a tour of the house if you'd like?" Alx said. "Sure,  We'd love that" Alice said. He began pointing things out and showing her the pictures on the wall "This is my twin sister, We haven't seen her since she was ten though" he said a bit sad. He then started pointing out the rooms when he got to mine.  He opened the door to let us in "This was Zays room. We didn't change it. It's still exactly the same from the day she went missing" he said I walked around My room memories flooding into my head. Then I saw Mr. Hippy. He was my favorite stuffed animal. I picked him up and smiled. "I used to have a stuffed animal like this. His name was Mr. Hops" I said changing the name. I didn't want to say anything just yet. "That was her favorite, she named it Mr. Hippy" alx said slightly laughing at the silly name. Dahvie was still looking at me as if I was a puzzle or a forgin object. I brushed it off as we walked to zavier's room that is completly different from how it was before.
After the little tour we sat in the living room and talked "I don't mean to be rude but Mia could you please step into the bathroom, I need to ask you something" Alice said pulling me into the bathroom. "When are you going to tell them?" she asked "I don't know how to! What am I supposed to say like hey I'm your lost daughter love me?" I asked "That's a great idea!" she said and drug me out of the bathroom. I rolled my eyes and we stood infront of everyone "Mia needs to tell you something" She said and sat down on the couch. "Go on" she said. I took a deep breath "Um. I don't know how to put this" I said and looked down "My names not Mia. I'm not from Washington. I'm from Florida. But when I was four, I think, I moved to California with my parents and brother." I said and looked up. They all except Alice looked confused. I sighed. "My names Zaylee Mia VonVanity. I have a twin brother named Zavier Alx VonVanity. My parents names are Jayy and dahvie. I was kidnapped by Mike fuents at the aquarium when I was ten. Ever since then I've been chained to a wall with the assistance of Alice who helped me run away to come back home" I said while crying. "I Knew you looked familiar! Oh my gosh Zaylee you look just like me" dahvie said and hugged me tightly. Alice's phone started ringing "It's Mike" She said then answered it.
When she got off she told us that Mike was pissed because we were supposed to be back by now and that he's on his way. "What do you mean he's on his way? How does he know your here?" dahvie asked "He put a tracking chip in her." Alice said "Well how do we get it out?" dahvie asked "Well. I don't know where it is so we can't" she said "Zay, do you know where it is?" he asked "No! I didn't even know there was a chip in me" I said
My dads took me to the police department and they used some tracky thingy and they found it in my arm. They removed it from my arm because it wasn't very deep in my skin. It felt like getting a splinter out. They put a bandaid over it and once Mike got there they pit him under arrest and some of the cops left to rescue the other people that he took.

Zaylee lived her life with her parents and brother and she got married to a sweet guy named Issac and they have a little girl named Isabella.
