                      Venus' POV

"Hurry up Kitty, we're going to be late!" I ran quickly through the bustling streets of Tokyo, scanning the area for my pet. She ran into my arms, her prickly black fur piercing into my soft hands. There's no time for pain, gotta get to school.

I ran swiftly through the crowd, avoiding the strangers that surrounded Kitty and me. I arrived at the tall white building that towered over us. I slowed my pace and walked through the doors.

A tsunami of colors poured its beauty over us, as each student wore as they pleased. Many of my peers filed through the halls, leading others to follow.

I placed Kitty in my backpack, being careful of her delicate frame. I entered my first classroom and sat down in my orange desk and placed my bag down besides me.

"Another boring class of Language Arts," I whispered softly underneath my breath.

The ringing of bells chimed in my ears, meaning school has come to an end. After school finished, I started on my way home, letting Kitty out of my backpack. We walked side by side, at the same pace. It was quiet down the path we took, as always.

The breeze was crisp and the smell of cherry blossoms filled the air. It was sweet and peaceful, as always.

   Or...that's what I thought

I looked down an alley and saw...a boy. It was too dark to make definite observations, but by the looks of it, he had brown hair. That's all you could make out. He looked at me from the darkness that concealed his figure, and I stared back. He came closer to me.

   I stayed put.

Unknown's POV

She stood there, staring at me with foreign brown eyes. They were full of curiosity and caution. I slowly stepped closer to her. I emerged from the shadows and stood in front of her. Curvy figure, long dark brown hair, and a small cat-like creature stood next to her.

I was shorter than her, maybe a inch or so. She wore a Japanese style uniform, a Lolita I think. It suited her figure too, a perfect fit. Her eyes didn't blink though, only stared.

Should I say something?

Instead I just stood there, staring into her shiny brown eyes...

Venus' POV

He was shorter than I was, maybe younger as well. Now in the light I could see all of his features. Hazel orbs hung low in baggy eyes. They glistened in the dimming sunlight, showing a gold tint to them. He had shaggy brown hair that went in every direction. A small child-like face, he seemed the age of ten at most.

I've never seen him before...strange.

I wanted to speak to him, but what would I say to him. I said what was the first thing that came to my mind.

"W-who are you," I stammered. He seemed to back away a little before opening his small mouth.

"I'm n-no one miss..." He looked down at his bare feet, as if he became sad. He said No One...what's that supposed to mean. Oh well...

I look at him puzzled and I grabbed his hand slowly. He must have no home. He wore raggedy clothes with patches and holes. No shoes and barely a shirt. I pulled him close to me and embraced his warm body. I felt my motherly instincts kick in I guess.

"Do you have a home?" He shook his head while removing himself from the hug. I pondered for awhile, maybe he should come with me. I live alone and I have the space...

I held his hand firmly and I walked him to my home. It was a big and beautiful house. Not as large as the buildings that were in the area, but big. I opened the door slowly and Kitty walked in strutting her tail. I signaled the boy into my home, happily he followed my directions and I closed the door behind us both.
