My Top Ten Lists

Favorite Bands (Past - Present)

This is going to be a list of bands that I listen to on a regular basis. So here they are: 

#10 - Skillet: Before they had a song used by WWE, well I found them on youtube thanks to a friend (who I'm no longer friends with). I fell in love with the way that they sound and I love the meanings of their songs. I respect their music. 

#9 - Poet of the Fall: They are a christian rock band that I found on youtube while listening to Skillet. I mean their songs are really freaking awesome and Carnival of Rust is the song that got me into them. The lead singer has a great voice and it's accompanied by talented people playing the instrumentals. 

#8 - Backstreet Boys/Nsync: I can just hear the hate or the shocked gasps. Yes I love them. Yes I grew up listening to them. I seriously can belt out the words to almost every song that they have. I know that's pretty sad. 

#7 - Green Day: I grew up listening to these guys and they got some pretty awesome songs. Though some of the songs are so freaking sad. Jeez. I mean pull at the heart strings there guys. I love them. 

#6 - All American Rejects: These guys really are amazing, but I will say I liked their sound back when they first started. Now they have taken their sound and tried to stay relevent just like Linkin Park has done. They have more of a pop sound than their rock/punk sound that they had. 

#5 - Dark Tranquility: Alright this one is out there compared to all the bands on here because they are symphonic death metal. Yeah you heard me. I listen to a metal band. Though there are a few more bands that I listen to that are metal as well. 

#4 - Halestorm: When they first came out, I didn't really know what to think of them. Though as the years kept going by, I started to really enjoy the sound of their music and the lead singer does a really good job at singing. 

#3 - Paramore: I have to admit that they are awesome. Though they did go to more of a pop sound as the years changed, but they are still good. Some bands can pull it off and some can't. They are one of the bands that pulled it off. 

#2 - A7X aka Avenged Sevenfold: Now for this one there are many reasons why I love them. I mean have you seen Synyster Gates? He's hot, but the main reason that I love them is because of the songs. The sound of their music really gives me life. They are an amazing band just like my number one pick. 

AND #1 IS........

#1 - Theory of a Deadman: Trust me putting them as first was hard since I love them and Avenged. I mean they both have a great sound and the song meanings are so relatable sometimes. I absolutely love it.
